"The last time you did this was 40 years ago; this is holy ground"--Bruce Hamsher. Indeed, the last time Dayspring installed a Lead Pastor was 1986. Pastor Jim isn't going anywhere but he has been called to take new ground in Marketplace Ministry so yesterday, Pastor Jim passed the mantle of Lead Pastor to Pastor Sean. Sean asked his grandfather, Joe Schrock to share the message and he shared of being called to pastor Maple Grove for 24 years and then to do missionary work in Botswana for 3. He urged Sean to remember his call when things are difficult. Extra meaningful to have 3 of Sean's co-workers from Lake Center Christian School come and honor Sean's transition. Dayspring has been in their shoes sending loved ones to minister other places and we acknowledge their difficult releasing of Sean to us. Also very honoring to have 6 that we've released to pastor elsewhere be back with us for this celebration. Thank you Randy & Larissa, Terry & Joanne, and Matt & Aubrey.

A reminder that this Sunday, July 12 at 10:00 a.m., the local Ohio Evana churches are hosting ReGenal, a combined worship service.

The service will take place at the Mt. Hope Event Center, 8076 Ohio-241 Millersburg, OH 44654. Pastor Ross Miller of Evermore Community Church will bring the message, and Communion will be served during the service.

Please note that there will be NO worship gathering at the Dayspring building that morning. All are welcome and encouraged to attend ReGenal. We hope to see you there!

If you are looking for something fun to do next weekend, come on out and support our youth!

The Dayspring Youth cordially invite you to a formal spaghetti dinner and silent auction on Saturday, April 25 at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for youth ages 10-17, and $10 for children ages 9 and under. All proceeds will benefit the group going to Costa Rica at the end of June.

In addition to the dinner, there will be a silent auction of handmade art pieces, and even some dinner theatre entertainment by our very own youth group!
