Hello there, neighbors and friends!

Just wanted to drop a quick note and invite every single one of you to a great family-friendly holiday event that we are hosting and have been hosting at our church for decades. Truly, everybody’s welcome - bring the kiddos, Grandma and Grandpa, cousin, aunts, uncles, and the whole gang! We have plenty of room. Even if your group’s bigger than a church van on Sunday morning!

Come on out and take a nice easy, self-guided walk through Bethlehem, just the way it might’ve looked on that holy night when Jesus was born. It will be like stepping right back in time-busy streets, friendly shopkeepers, twinkling lights and that peaceful feeling that wraps around your heart.

When you’re all done strolling, we’ll have a warm welcome waiting with coffee, tea, light refreshments, and piles of cookies waiting for you to enjoy. (Because nobody leaves here hungry or without a smile!)

We’d sure love to see your sweet smiling faces, swap a few hugs, and catch up with our favorite folks from Massillon and the surrounding areas.

Can’t wait to see you there because it just wouldn’t feel like Christmas without you!

Really coming down to the wire with NIB. On Saturday, November 15 from 9:30 to Noon there is a workday. Muscles and men are needed. As well as as plenty of ladies to decorate.

Any and all that can show up and help, is not only needed, but so much appreciated.

Ever wonder what it must have been like in Bethlehem on the night that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ was born?

Please join us for a joyous free immersive self guided tour. Experiencing the sights and sounds of, “A Night in Bethlehem”. December 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Groups of all sizes are welcome. Light refreshments and cookies served at the end of tour. 

Step back in time with us and say hello to the shopkeepers. Along with a live nativity at the end of the tour. Celebrate with us the true meaning of Christmas.

Time for a little NIB update and workday information.

Fliers and postcards are available in the back of the church to hand out to the community. Please share any ideas that you may have for Night In Bethlehem outreach to Brian or Jennifer Fraelich.

There is also a sign-up sheet in the back for anyone that would like to help out and participate in NIB. The dates are December 6,th 7th, 13th and 14th. 5:30 to 7:30 pm. We appreciate any evening that you could help. If you would like to help out one of the evenings in the town, arrive a bit earlier so that that you can get your costume and get into place. Contact Jennifer Fraelich to let her know that you will be participating.
Mark your calendars!

There is also an upcoming NIB workday. It is on Saturday, November 8, 9:30 am to Noon. We’ve been hard at work putting up the structures and it has come to the point where many hands are needed to start to decorate the booths. There is much work for everyone. If you have stepladders, staplers and cordless screwdrivers, would you bring them? But if you don’t, please join us anyway. Any and all help is so much appreciated.

One last thing. Would you pray that this year all hearts would be open to helping out the church in anyway possible with this production? It takes the participation, time and energy of so very many people on many differing levels to make this happen. And that is even before the doors of the church open on the first night of NIB, December 6th.

Enjoy this time lapse video of Calvary Chapel Massillon 2024 Night in Bethlehem. This was our 30 year anniversary of NIB. Christian Kapper has truly captured the process as it starts with a time lapse construction of the city and continues with a tour. All set with music.

This video is sitting on Google Drive so I have posted a link below for it. If any of you have trouble accessing it, if you leave a comment below, I will try to help you troubleshoot the process as much as I can and know how to.

A big thank you to Christian for all of the work and creativity he has put into this video.
And what a blessing it is to be able to share this with all that find their way to our page.
