December 15, 2024 (Third Sunday of Advent – Gaudete Sunday) – Bambinelli Sunday or the Jesus Nativity Statue Blessing - at the 10am Family Mass
Please join us at the Family Mass for a special blessing of the parishioners’ Jesus Nativity Statues which follows the Roman practice of the blessing of the “Bambinelli.” Each year, on the Third Sunday of Advent, children gather with their families in St. Peter’s Square for “Bambinelli Sunday.” The children bring with them figures of the Christ Child – the “Bambinelli” – from their family’s Nativity scene. During the noontime Angelus prayer, the pope blesses the children and the figurines they have brought.
Before this Third Sunday of Advent, unpack your family’s Nativity and bring the statue of Baby Jesus to the 10am Family Mass for this special blessing. In addition, we will be handling out small Manger scenes for the children.

Join us for St. Rose of Lima Bagels 'N Bingo on Sunday, February 5, 2023 after the 10am Family Mass in the Auditorium. The Admission cost is $4 per person or 2 people for $7.

Join us after the Family Mass on October 17 for a Hospitality in the Auditorium. There will be some crafts/activities for the children and light refreshments for everyone. If you wish to help out with the refreshments, a treat for our share table would be greatly appreciated.

School Backpack Blessing at St. Rose - The Family Mass is Back! Join us on Sunday, September 12 at the 10am Family Mass. Children are encouraged to bring their backpack to Mass this Sunday for a special blessing. To commemorate the day, we will distribute special tags to the children for their backpack. We will also have a special Teacher Blessing!
