Important and inspirational play hosted by Temple Sinai,
Sunday: 5 May @ 4:00pm: ETTY.
Adapted and performed by Susan Stein, Etty is a powerful one-woman play about the Dutch woman: Etty Hillesum, who, through her own inner strength persevered in 1942 Nazi-occupied Holland. Through her diaries and letters from Westerbork Concentration camp, she bears witness to what it means to be human and commits herself not to hate even as she is witness to the horrors around her.

Seeing this play is a poignant way to commemorate and remember those who suffered and died during the Shoah.
