Our mission is to connect with God and others through the Gospel. River of Life Church is on a great adventure! Since our inception in 2004 we have experienced a lot together and it is evident that we are in this community for a purpose. With this in mind it is important that we keep the target in front of us. The answer to one question is key to keeping that in front of all of us - why do we exis

t? Why do we do what we do? At River of Life Church, we have sought to fulfill the purpose that we read about in Acts 2. We want to become the kind of church that God has in mind - a church that leads people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. It's been about two millennia since Jesus chose 12 ordinary men to lead a revolution with the message of the Gospel - the good news about God fulfilling His promises to heal our broken world through His Son. This daring dozen turned the world upside down and introduced history to a new kind of community, a community centered in following Christ and being His hands and feet everywhere we go. God had in mind a spiritual family, intimately connected with Him and with one another, as we partner with the undeniable power of the Holy Spirit to engage the possibility of a transformed culture fully devoted to Christ. God wants to weave each one of us into the fabric of this spiritual community that is to be an unstoppable, transforming force of God’s blessing flowing to every society on the planet. Bring your kids and friends to join a time of worship and fellowship. There will be games and light refreshments, a prayer booth and ICE CREAM. Bring your best homemade ice cream or whatever flavor is your favorite, or just come and enjoy the fun. Hope to see you there. The fun starts at 6:00 pm on Sunday August 30 at the Mason City Park Pavilion.
