Training Camp Week 2 reminded us that learning the playbook means learning to see people differently.

Beyond appearances. Beyond first impressions. Beyond where someone is right now—to the potential God sees in them.

From worship and prayer to conversations in the hallway, families growing together, and people simply showing up for one another, today was a picture of what happens when we begin to see people the way God does.

As Sunday winds down, carry one thing into the week: notice the person you might normally pass by, and be open to what God could do through one conversation.

A little girl with a big love for Jesus!

Haven loves talking about Jesus, her church, and the people she loves—and we love seeing her share that joy wherever she goes.

This weekend, she took another big step in her faith and was baptized by her dad!

We’re so excited to celebrate your big decision, Haven!

"Where is my guilt? Where is my shame? I left it in the river."

Those lyrics sparked a reflection for Story Pastor Dale Reeves after hearing Sunday's message on letting go of the things that keep us on the sidelines. In this week's blog, Dale shares how one family's baptism celebration, a reminder from Scripture, and a simple question challenge us all:

Have you left it in the river?

You weren't meant to carry it forever.

Jesus already carried your sin to the cross, and His grace is freely given. As we kicked off Training Camp, we were reminded that God is preparing us—not for the sidelines, but for the mission He has ahead.

Day 1 of Training Camp is in the books.

Today we reported to camp and started where every mission begins—not by doing more, but by allowing God to work in us.

We were reminded that we can’t carry yesterday’s unforgiveness, anger, and guilt onto the field God is calling us to. Not every path looks the same, and growth doesn’t happen overnight—but every step toward Jesus is still a step forward.

We’re just getting started. Welcome to Training Camp.

God doesn't prepare us to sit on the sidelines. He prepares us to join Him in His mission. Join us tomorrow at 9 or 10:30am, as we kick off a 5-week series, Training Camp.

As we head into the fall—a season when schools begin, routines return, relationships reconnect, and our church reaches more people than almost any other time of the year—we want to prepare you to live on mission.

Join us as we prepare our hearts, our minds, and our lives so that when opportunities come, we're ready to point people to Jesus.

Sometimes the next step isn't having life figured out.

Sometimes it's simply surrender.

"Letting Christ be the center... it all just makes sense now."

We celebrate every story of life change because every story points back to the faithfulness of God.

Where is God asking you to trust Him a little more today?

What consistently fills your home will eventually shape your home.

Faith was never meant to be something we only hear about on Sunday. It is formed in the ordinary moments—when we sit, walk, lie down, get up, and choose what will remain central in our homes.

Our families don’t just need more information. They need intentional formation. They need people willing to set the temperature rather than simply reflect the culture around them.

If we don’t disciple our families, something else will.

What a Sunday!

Today we celebrated two baptisms and were reminded that our families are shaped every day by what we prioritize, practice, and model.

We can’t control everything around us, but we can choose what sets the temperature in our homes.

Let’s keep showing up, following Jesus, and competing for the people God has placed in our lives.
