A few moments from Father's Day at Christ's Church.

We're grateful for the dads, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who make an impact on the next generation through their faith, love, and example.

If you see someone you know in these photos, tag them below so they don't miss them!

And if you're pictured, feel free to save, share, and celebrate the memories.

Idolatry isn't just a statue. It's anything that competes with God for the place in our hearts that belongs only to Him. When we give that space to something else, it becomes an idol. Approval, relationships, success, comfort, possessions, even family can become idols when they take priority over God.

What is competing for your attention and affection? Spend some time this week asking God to reveal anything that has taken His place and surrender it back to Him. When God is first, everything else finds its proper place.

Some moments remind you why the Church matters.

Today was one of those moments.

A young man who grew up in this church stood on our stage and opened God's Word. And in a message centered on Ephesians 5, he reminded us of a simple truth:

We become what we're closest to.

We see it in families.
We see it in friendships.
We see it in every influence we allow to shape our lives.

The question isn't whether we're being formed.

The question is: Who is forming us?

Paul's challenge was to stop settling for appearances and allow Christ to transform us from the inside out. Not to pretend we're perfect. Not to hide our struggles. But to step into the light where healing, freedom, and real life change happen.

This week, take a moment to ask yourself:

What am I closest to?

And does it look more like Jesus today than it did yesterday?

Not every step of faith happens on a stage.

Sometimes it happens in a small group.
Sometimes around a Bible.
Sometimes in a conversation that changes how you see God, yourself, or someone else.

Know a young adult looking for community? Tag them below.

Last night our Young Adults gathered to grow together, ask questions, study God's Word, and encourage one another.

The church was never meant to be a crowd of spectators. It was meant to be a people being formed together.

Because every person matters.
Every gift matters.
And there's always room for one more in God's Kingdom.

Ready to take the next step?

The truth is, God has given every believer gifts for a purpose.

Not to keep to ourselves.
Not to bury in fear or doubt.
But to use for His Kingdom.

There are more lives, more families, and more communities that God wants to reach. And one of the ways He does that is through ordinary people faithfully using the gifts He has already given them.

The only question is:
What gift has God given you, and how will you use it?

Jesus didn't save you to leave you the way he found you.

God has given each of us gifts, talents, and opportunities to be used for His Kingdom.
There are more lives, more families, more neighborhoods, and more communities that God wants to impact. And He chooses to do that through His Church.

So don't let fear, doubt, or insecurity convince you that you have nothing to offer.

If Jesus has given you a gift to use for His Kingdom and you use that gift for His Kingdom, that is going to produce fruit.

What gift has God given you to use this week?

Jesus didn't save you to leave you the way He found you.

The Christian life isn't about trying harder...it's about becoming who Christ has already made you to be.

What old pattern, habit, or mindset needs to stay buried?

What would change if this week you chose to live like the new creation God says you are?

Take one step.
Show one person kindness.
Offer one act of forgiveness.
Trust God with the transformation.
