Okay, this is a long one, so please hang in there with me I beg you.
We needed some chicken breast for supper yesterday, so Terry and I took off to Lenoir City. Instead of going to our regular Walmart, something told me to go to the Aldi (God). We hadn't been to Aldi in probably over a year, but nevertheless off we went.
When we arrived we parked and just as we were about to get out of the car, out of the corner of my eye I saw a Young Lady, barely on her feet. The way she was moving it appeared as though her body was made of rubber the way that she moved. I spoke to Terry and got his attention and grabbed my phone to try to get her some help, he stopped me. As we watched this Young Woman stumbling, we got out of the car and someone from the store had called the police. I locked the car, but now she is headed toward the intersection, I started to run, as did a woman in the parking lot with us and so did Terry. The Lady that was running after this Young Lady with me, we were both hollering at her, trying to get her attention. We were so afraid that she was going to get ran over. As she crossed over the road and fell into the grassy part next to the old drug store, we were able to start talking to her and she began to cry. Terry was praying behind us. I introduced myself as Momma K & the Lady that was with me just so happened to be Momma K as well. The Young Lady smiled such a beautiful smile as she sat there on the grassy hill next to the old drug store. Her clothes all disheveled. Another woman brought her something to drink, I opened it for her to take a drink, all the while my husband is praying his heart out in the background. She said no that's yours. I told her that it was okay that there was nothing in it that it was bought for her and that she could have it. She took it, barely able to hold it, spilling it down her, she managed to drink some of it. We all sat there and talked with her and tried to get her to talk to us. We didn't want her to get up and try to leave, she sat there with us. Then the officers showed up. She begged Me & my counter part Momma K not to leave her. We told her that they were gonna take care of her. The officers ask her if she needed an ambulance. She told them that she didn't. I glanced back and my husband is still praying. I looked at this Young Lady and I said please don't do this to yourself no more Baby Girl and she smiled at me and walked away with the officers.
