Chilhowee Baptist Center

Chilhowee Baptist Center Food pantry/clothing ministry. Hours are 9am-2pm Mon. - Wed closed for lunch 12pm-12:30pm. Thursday hours are 4pm-8pm.

Appointment times are Mon and Wed 10:30 & 12:30, Tues. 10:00 & 12:30, and Thurs. 4:30 & 6:30. The Baptist Center is a ministry of the Chilhowee Baptist Association. Our churches donate food, clothing, household necessities, furniture, appliances and personal toiletry items for donation to our clients in need. We are currently serving about 125-150 families every week.

It is clear to me that some people cannot decern morally right and wrong. The soul is the part of man that can be rational. Souls that are still corrupt are irrational and cannot decern between morally right and wrong. Rational means to have understanding and reasoning. The soul that is irrational does not have understanding and reasoning. These are souls that have not been reborn or regenerated. Sad but true! If your comment got deleted it is because it is immoral and irrational. We will not go back and forth with irrational people because they do not have the correct reasoning and understanding capacity. Laws are established for a reason. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. The secular way of saying this is given an inch, and they will take a mile. There has to be order or we might as well just open the doors 24/7 and let everyone come in and do what they want to.
