BIBLE CAMP STARTS TOMORROW!

The countdown is officially over, and we are SO excited to welcome our kids back for Bible Camp! 🎉

Over the next several weeks, we will be learning about the Fruit of the Spirit and what it looks like to follow Jesus in the way we love and live. We have Bible lessons, games, crafts, worship, and plenty of fun planned!

📣 Parents: If you have not registered your child yet, there is still time! Register today so we can be ready to welcome them tomorrow night.
Remember that family worship will happen first in the worship center. After worship ends, you may check in your child to Bible camp.
Nursery will open at 6:30

💛 We still need preschool volunteers! We are asking volunteers to serve for just two nights, and everything is prepared for you. You do not have to plan a lesson or come up with activities. We simply need willing people who want to help create a safe, loving place for our littlest Bible Camp kids.

We cannot wait to see everyone TOMORROW! 🌳🍎

Bible Camp: The Fruit of the Spirit
For PreK - 5th Grade
Wednesdays | 6:30 PM - 8 PM

Your child is invited to train, compete, and conquer in this 6-week adventure designed to level up their Bible skills! With games, crafts, epic contests, prizes, and worship, they’ll take on the challenge of memorization and achievement!

We are also still looking for a few wonderful people to serve in the nursery and preschool.

You do not have to prepare anything. We will provide the lessons, activities, supplies, and everything you need. We simply need caring adults who are willing to show up, love our kids, and help create a safe and welcoming place for them while their families go to study.

Please register your kids and contact Kelsey if you would like to help us make Bible camp happen.

SOS: Nursery Team Needed! 🚨Copper Creek is growing, and that means our nursery is growing too. ❤️ And what a good problem to have!

But with more little ones joining our church family, we have a BIG need for a few more people willing to love on our littlest Copper Creek kiddos.

Family Sunday is coming up next week, and one of the things we love about Family Sunday is getting our church family together, including the people who faithfully serve our kids every single week.

Right now, our Kids Minister will need to spend Family Sunday in the nursery unless we can get a few more helping hands.
So… we’re calling in reinforcements! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

If you can rock a baby, play on the floor, hand out snacks, or simply be an extra set of loving hands, WE NEED YOU!

And parents of babies, PLEASE hear this: keep bringing those babies. 🥹❤️ This is not a “too many babies” problem. This is a look at how God is growing our church family opportunity, and we want to build a team ready to love them well.

If you can help in the nursery for Family Sunday or would be willing to join our nursery rotation going forward, comment below or reach out to Kelsey at [email protected].

It takes a church family to care for a growing church family. ❤️

Today at Copper Creek Kids, we learned about Elijah and the prophets of Baal.

The people of Israel had turned away from God and were worshiping Baal. Elijah challenged the people to see who was truly God. The prophets of Baal called out all day, but no one answered. Then Elijah prayed to the Lord, and God answered by sending fire from heaven! 🔥

God showed His people that He alone is the one true God and He alone deserves our worship.

We also learned that God still hears the prayers of His people. Because of Jesus, we can come to God with our prayers and trust that He hears us. ❤️

💬 Talk About It at Home:
Ask your child, “What did God show the people when He answered Elijah’s prayer?” Then talk about something your family can pray about together this week.

The countdown to Bible Camp has begun! 🍇

Bible Camp kids, where are your banners?! We want to see them! Drop a picture in the comments of you with your banner, or just show us your collection of Bible Camp pins! 📸

👀 And while you’re looking at mine… do you see a NEW pin you can earn at Bible Camp this year?!

This fall, we’re learning about the Fruit of the Spirit, and kids will have the opportunity to earn a brand new Bible Camp pin by memorizing the Fruit of the Spirit! 🌳

We cannot wait to spend these weeks learning, worshiping, playing, and growing together.

Parents, there are two ways to get involved:

🍓 Register your kids for Bible Camp!

🙌 Consider serving for just TWO nights! We still need volunteers in nursery, preschool, crafts, games, and Bible lesson. Everything is planned and provided for you. We just need people willing to invest in the discipleship of our kids.

🍎 Bible Camp is coming soon! 🍇

Bible Camp is a special six-week experience where children learn about God through Bible lessons, crafts, games, worship, and time with friends. This year, we will explore the Fruit of the Spirit and help kids understand what it looks like to live out love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Kids will also have the opportunity to earn a special Fruit of the Spirit pin by memorizing Galatians 5:22–23! We hope families will begin practicing the verse together before Bible Camp begins.

We also need volunteers who are willing to help make these nights possible. We are only asking each volunteer to serve for two nights, and we'll plan and provide everything. Current openings include:

🍓 Nursery
🍊 Preschool
🍋 Crafts
🍐 Games
🍇 Bible lesson

You don't need to be a Bible expert or an experienced teacher. You simply need a willing heart and a desire to help children grow in their faith. Your two nights of service can make a lasting difference in a child's spiritual formation.

Please register your child below and contact Kelsey ([email protected]) if you're interested in making Bible Camp happen by volunteering.

Yesterday at Copper Creek Kids, we learned about King Jeroboam and the kings who led Israel away from God.

Jeroboam was afraid the people would leave him, so instead of trusting God, he took matters into his own hands. He made golden calves for the people to worship, and soon their hearts began turning away from the one true God.

We learned that an idol is anything we love or value more than God. Idols may look different today, but our hearts can still put things, people, or even ourselves in God’s place.

But there is good news! ❤️ Jesus came to rescue us from our sin and bring us back to God. Even when our hearts wander, Jesus shows us just how deeply God loves us.

💬 Talk About It at Home:
Ask your child, “What are some good things that could become too important to us?” Talk about how we can enjoy the good gifts God gives us without loving them more than we love Him.

Bible Camp volunteers are already stepping up! 🎉

Because of our last post, we now have nursery volunteers for the first two nights and another preschool volunteer joining our team. We are so thankful for every person who has said yes!

Bible Camp is about more than filling volunteer positions. It is an opportunity to participate in the discipleship of our children. When you welcome a child, open the Bible with them, help with a craft, or encourage them during a game, you are showing them that they are known, loved, and worth investing in.

You do not need to be a Bible expert or an experienced teacher. We prepare the lessons, games, activities, and supplies for you. We are simply looking for caring adults who are willing to serve for two nights and help children grow in their relationship with Jesus.

We still need volunteers in nursery, preschool and elementary, including people to lead crafts, games, and Bible lessons. We also need a few flexible helpers who can serve wherever they are needed most.

Two nights may feel like a small commitment, but your presence can make a lasting difference in the faith of a child. If you are willing to join us, please contact Kelsey or comment below! 🍎🍊🍇

Today at Copper Creek Kids, we learned about King Rehoboam and what happened after Solomon died.

When Rehoboam became king, he was given wise advice about how to lead his people with kindness and service. Instead of listening, he chose the advice of his friends and decided to make life harder for the people. His pride and poor choices eventually led to the kingdom being divided.

We talked about an important truth: who we listen to matters! God gives us His Word and godly people to help us make wise choices. We also looked to Jesus as our perfect example. Jesus showed us that true leadership isn’t about being powerful or getting our own way. Jesus chose to serve others.

💬 Talk About It at Home:
Ask your child, “Who are some people in your life you can go to for wise advice?” Talk about how we can know whether someone’s advice lines up with what God teaches us in the Bible.
