The people in this picture participated in Urban Plunge Kansas City this past weekend. Over the course of three days, they volunteered at an event for at-risk youth, sorted through donations and helped stock shelves at an inner-city thrift store, and helped provide food and essential services to people who are homeless. Thank you to the members of Parnell United Methodist Church and to students of Northwest Wesley Foundation who took the plunge and, in so doing, showed countless people the face of God.

Wesley's Haiti Clean Water Team got a write-up in the Maryville Daily Forum!

On Jan. 12, 2010, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake devastated the country of Haiti leaving thousands of people without homes or shelter. The earthquake’s epicenter was located 16 miles west of Port-au-Prince, which is the capital of Haiti.
