What is so great about college students is their flexibility!! Due to some building maintenance, we held our weekly RealLife worship service at Laura Street Baptist Church before going to the gym at First Baptist Church in Maryville for volleyball. We are so thankful to have two amazing supporting churches in Maryville that open their doors to us!

Hundreds of photos were taken over the last week, but here are a few more! After a week of working hard for the Lord, everyone made it back to Maryville safely late Saturday night. Thank you, Missouri Disaster Relief for this amazing opportunity to partner in ministry!

The week is nearly half over, and the team in North Carolina is making some amazing progress! There are a few prayer requests to share today:

Please pray for the health of the team as a few are struggling with illness.
Pray also that God would continue to move in mighty ways as this team works to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Please also pray for continued unity among the group and that friendships will be created and strengthened.

We couldn’t do this without you—our faithful supporters!

28 students, 2 Lighthouse staff members, and several faithful servants from Laura Street Baptist Church headed off to Burnsville, NC this morning for Disaster Relief! We cannot wait to see the way God works in them and through them to serve this week.

This weekend was the annual MBCollegiate conference in Columbia, MO. Our students walked through the first few chapters of Nehemiah in the main session and had the opportunity to attend topical break-out sessions. It is always a highlight of the semester!

Thank you to Roger and Susan Baker’s Sunday School class at Laura Street Baptist Church for providing dinner last night! It is such a blessing for our students and staff!

This weekend was our annual women’s retreat! A special thank you to our two speakers, Karin Yarnell and Abby Atwell who spoke on mental health and being women who pursue the Lord in a secular world. It was so fun to watch these girls laugh, pour into each other, and make life-long memories!
