What an unforgettable week at Illumination Station VBS 2026!

Friday, kids answered the question: "Why do I need to respond to Jesus?" Through Peter's message in Acts 2, they learned that Jesus is God's plan for forgiveness and that each person must decide how they will respond to Him.

Day Five's Point: Jesus is God's plan for forgiveness.

As we wrap up the week, we celebrate everything God has done through worship, friendships, games, Bible study, and countless moments where kids learned more about who Jesus is.

We're also celebrating the generosity of our VBS families and kids.

Our goal was $7,000 for T.W.I.G.S. Pack-a-Sack, and together we brought in $12,341.35. This is amazing, and will go a long way to helping kids in our community!

Boys vs. Girls Final Results:
Boys: $5,871.51
Girls: $5,069.84

Thank you to all our volunteers, every family who participated, and every child who joined us this week. We are grateful for all God has done and excited to see how He continues to work in the lives of these kids long after VBS ends.

Day 4 brought us to the most important event in history.

Yesterday, kids explored the question: "Was Jesus just someone who lived a long time ago?" Through the story of Jesus' death and resurrection, they learned that Jesus lived, died, and rose again to be our Savior—now and forever.

Day Four's Point: Jesus is the proven Son of God.
(Preschool Point: Jesus is alive!)

The boys and girls continue to battle it out in our offering, with the boy marginally ahead! Regardless of who wins, our community will be impacted through this offering. It is amazing to see these kids excited to give and help others.

Offering Total: $6,208
Boys Total: $3,318.96
Girls Total: $2,889.04

We're looking forward to our final evening together (and seeing who is going to get slimed)!

Day 2 was packed with fun and truth!

Yesterday, we asked the question: "Was Jesus just an ordinary man?" As the kids learned about Jesus' baptism, they discovered that Jesus is the perfect Son of God who came to be the Savior of the world.

Day 2 Point: Jesus is God's perfect Son.

Our offering for T.W.I.G.S. Pack-a-Sack continues to grow as kids generously give to help provide meals for children in our community. The boys brought in more yesterday but we will see what happens tonight!

Offering Total for the Week: $1,976.06
Boys for Day 2: $926.83
Girls for Day 2: $609.83

Don't forget—today is Friend Day and Chick-fil-A Day! We can't wait to welcome even more kids for a day filled with fun, worship, and learning about Jesus. It's not too late to invite a friend!

What a day! Day 3 VBS did not disappoint!

Yesterday was Friend Day, and we loved seeing 112 new faces join us for VBS – 112 more children who heard about who Jesus is! We also celebrated our highest attendance ever of 630 kids! The excitement at VBS was contagious. It was also Chick-fil-A Day, and we saw so many of our VBS friends there!

The big question for Day 3 was: "Was Jesus just a teacher?" Through the account of Jesus feeding the 4,000, kids learned that everything Jesus said and did showed that He is the powerful Son of God.

Day Three's Point: Jesus is the powerful Son of God.

Our VBS offering continues to move us closer to our goal of $7,000 for T.W.I.G.S. Pack-a-Sack. Will Ms. Lindy be slimed or will it be Pastor Isaiah?

Boy's Total: $2,146.06

Pray for the kids attending today, as it is the day that the gospel will be presented in their Bible time. Pray for softened hearts that are ready to hear His voice!

What a fantastic day! Thank you to everyone who stopped by Chick-fil-A and supported our VBS Missions Project. Every meal helped us share the love of Jesus in our community, and we’re so grateful for your support!

Tonight was incredible as we welcomed 112 kids to Friends Night! 💙 From laughter and worship to fun with friends, it was a blessing to see so many young hearts gathered together.

A huge thank you to all the families, volunteers, and friends who made today possible. Your generosity, encouragement, and participation helped create a memorable day for everyone involved.

We can’t wait to see what God has in store for the rest of VBS! 🙌
