Four of our members, Tristen Buss, Adrian Keller, Jenna Stallo, and Grace Schroeder, had the opportunity to attend the annual leadership training hosted at Mizzou. We look forward to the end of the semester and the beginning of the next year as we look to incorporate the new ideas learned into our campus center!

It is officially back to school time, which means our open house is tomorrow!! Here’s a sneak peek of upgrades and changes that our members have worked on this summer, come join us at 11am to see the rest!!

Grace, Jenna, and Jared have been taking advantage of the summer time to work on some renovations for the upcoming school year! We hope to see you all soon at the “new” LCC!!

Grace (LCC president) and Jared (LCC assistant director) have had the pleasure to speak with incoming northwest students about campus ministry at SOAR this week. We look forward to our new members joining us in august!

A few weeks ago members of the LCC provided service to members of Hope Lutheran Church by helping with tasks around their homes. This included some yard work and car cleaning. While the weather wasn’t ideal, the students were excited and appreciative to help and grow in their relationships with other members of the congregation.

Throughout the last few weeks our students have started to remodel around the LCC and look to continue for a new look for the upcoming school year! This has included tearing down wallpaper, painting, and upgrading furniture. Stayed tuned for sneak peeks and the final update!

Our next spotlight post is for Grace Schroeder. Grace is a sophomore business management major from Liberty, Missouri. In her free time grace enjoys restoring old cars, cornhusking competitions, and spending time with her friends and family. After school Grace hopes to get her CAD certificate and go on to design houses or buildings. Her favorite verse is John 14:6: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Farther, except through Me.”
