Fear seems to find its way into every generation.

This Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, Rev. Scott Nowack brings a message titled “Finding Contentment in Fearful Times,” reflecting on Genesis 21:8–21, Romans 6:1b–11, and Matthew 10:24–39.

In the wilderness, God hears the cries of Hagar and Ishmael. Jesus reminds his followers that even the sparrows are known and cared for by God. These stories encourage us to trust that God's presence remains with us even in uncertain times.

God blesses us for a purpose.

This Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, Rev. Scott Nowack brings a message titled “Blessed to be a Blessing,” reflecting on Genesis 12:1–9 and Matthew 9:9–13, 18–26.

God called Abram and promised that through him all the families of the earth would be blessed. That same calling continues today as we receive God's grace and share it with others through service, compassion, and love.

We will also celebrate the ordination and installation of new elders and deacons, giving thanks for those who have answered God's call to serve.
