The FreeStore at Camp Christian

The FreeStore at Camp Christian Clothes, Food non-perishables, available to our local community The Free Store is a ministry that began in late 2010.

Since it began, we have been able to assist over 2200 people in need, roughly 500 families. The mission is simple: we ask those with abundance to give clothing, household items and linens they are no longer using and they go to the Free Store to be available to those who are in need. The purpose is two fold: share with each other and understand our connectedness and be in genuine relationship wit

h each other. We serve the rural communities surrounding Camp Christian and anyone else who may find themselves in need.

The FreeStore has been a great ministry and extension of camp! The ministry that began in 2010 has helped almost 500 families in that span. Thank you for helping this ministry and our local community. However we are in a season of change. The needs of the local community have changed over the last thirteen years. The FreeStore will temporarily close 12-23-23 and will reopen in April 2024. We are no longer accepting donations during this time period. In our new season, we will no longer be carrying clothing items, but instead, a fully-stocked pantry will be provided. We will also still provide coats, blankets and towels to those in need. Stay tuned for more on this exciting ministry!!

The Free Store will be closed Friday April 7th in observation of Good Friday. Our hours
is Monday 4p to 7p and Friday 4p-7p and the third Saturday from 10a- to noon. If you are in need of assistance when the store is not open please reach out to us via messenger.

Greetings! Few updates from The Freestore at Camp Christian. The Blessing Box outside of The Freestore was discontinued 11-1-2022. Instead, there will be a monthly distribution of blessing boxes at the Free Store 10262 Maple Dell Road Marysville, Ohio 43040 each third Saturday of the month at 10 a. Please RSVP to guarantee that you get a box. It will be first come first serve. To RSVP call/text. Reminder of the free thanksgiving meal served on Thanksgiving from 11-3 at the camp. Lastly the forms for the annual Christmas party Dec 17th are available at The Freestore. Question send us a message.
