DDOK FOUNDER
After personally experience a divorce many years ago, Evangelist Wanda Bailey founded DDOK to bring together a community of women to achieve divine healing that brings restoration from the crippling emotions of divorce. MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Divorced Daughters of the Kingdom (DDOK) is to achieve spiritual, inner, relational, and physical healing, that brings restoration af
ter the effects of trauma that cripples emotions as a result of going through a divorce. Through the Word of God, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we seek to encounter Jesus Christ, who is already at work to heal (Matthew 9:22), thereby attaining growth and maturity. VISION
DDOK’s vision challenges one to Double Dare to be OK with accepting life’s failures, be empowered by the Holy Spirit and successfully move forward with a renewed identity in Christ. Increased awareness of God in the midst of life’s experiences and total surrender to Him, will navigate participants to restoring one’s life through an intimate relationship with God our Father, who identifies himself as Our Maker, Our Husband, and Our Redeemer (Isaiah 54:5). OBJECTIVE
The objective of the DDOK is to bring together a community of women who have been traumatized by divorce or the association with divorce which can generally lead to isolation and spiritual barrenness. The Bible teaches us that all believers are to bear the burdens of one another (Gal. 6:2) so that we may be able to comfort others by the comfort which we ourselves are comforted of God (1 Cor. 1:4). WHAT DDOK IS NOT
DDOK is not a ministry that encourages divorce but instead leads to divine healing for those affected by it. The ministry is for support purposes and is not a licensed Christian marriage counseling organization. Rather, it provides tools and resources necessary for divorced daughters to be rooted in the Word of God, built up in Christ, guided by Holy Spirit, established in love, strengthened in faith, and overflowing in thankfulness bearing much fruit (John 15:16).
