No Greater Love

Upon a quiet morning’s sunrise,
We gather where the banners stream,
We bow our heads with solemn pride,
For those who fought, bled, and died.

For freedom’s price is dear and grave,
Those battlefields, now silent are nothing but a memory,
where hope and courage bloom, souls that faced the ultimate sacrifice.

No greater love can us mortals show,
Than laying life aside, to go where duty, honor, country call,
They gave, that we might live in freedoms light.

So while the bugle softly plays,
And memory paints their noble ways,
Let’s cherish the peace and reward they won above,
For there is no gift, like selfless love.

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

"Her Children Rise"

She walks in strength, not fear or dread,
With dignity in how she’s led.

Her laughter comes, not filled with strain,
But rooted deep in joy through pain.

She speaks with wisdom, calm and true,
God’s kindness laces all she’ll do.

No idle hands, no selfish aim,
She lifts her home in Jesus’ name.
When morning breaks, she’s up to serve,
With quiet grace and holy nerve.

No spotlight sought, no worldly prize,
Yet in her honor, children rise.

Her husband praises all her days,
With grateful heart and loving praise.

"Many have done great things, it’s true,
But none shine brighter, none than you."

So here's to mothers, strong and wise,
With God’s own fire behind their eyes.
A crown of love upon their head,
By truth and mercy daily led.
