The Knights of Columbus #8910, would like to thank the parishioners who participated in the 50/50 raffle each pancake breakfast. Because of those contributions, they were able to send Deacon Aaron Slayback, one of our seminarians, a check in support of his last year of seminary, before becoming a priest in our diocese! Please continue to pray for Deacon Aaron this year!

Corpus Christi is the feast that celebrates the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. It was because of St. Juliana of Liege that devotion to the Most Precious Body and Blood of Jesus is adored in this way worldwide!

On Thursday June 11, 2026, as part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Bishop Wack will join all of the bishops of the United States to consecrate our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The faithful across our diocese are encouraged to unite their prayers with our shepherds for this special occasion. The Novena to the Sacred Heart begins tomorrow, June 3, culminating with the consecration on June 11.

You can find the text of those prayers at usccb.org/novena-sacred-heart-jesus.

In his prayer intention for June, the month dedicated the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Pope Leo XIV encourages us, “Let us pray together that each one of us might find consolation in a personal relationship with Jesus, and from His Heart, learn to have compassion on the world.” As we begin this Novena to the Sacred Heart, we join the Holy Father in that prayer.

What's happening this week at Saint Peter Parish?

First thank you for your patience as we continue to make improvements on campus. "Pardon our Progress" as we renovate the walk-ways in front of the church. There is more to come, but it will be worth it in the end! Again, thank you for your generosity in making this happen, as well as your patience!

Next, TONIGHT, we have our weekly. Adoration is 7-9PM however, we will also be praying the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
