Summer heat doesn’t affect everyone the same way, and extreme heat puts our most vulnerable neighbors at risk.

A broken AC, a home without shade, a night without relief can turn a heatwave into a crisis.

That’s why this season matters, and The Salvation Army is stepping in to offer cool spaces, utility bill assistance and support for neighbors who need help staying safe this summer. ☀️

Reach out locally if you need assistance or if you can lend a hand. ✨

🍩 The Salvation Army Lassies stepped onto the front lines of WWI with one mission: bring comfort where it was most needed.

A warm donut became a reminder that someone cared, and that one act of love has rippled through generations.

Today, hundreds of families across our community find comfort, support, and hope through The Salvation Army.

🍩National Donut Day celebrates kindness that still changes lives.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to all HCPS cafeteria staff who donated so generously to the Salvation Army. We are also especially thankful to Magna Vista for following up this week with additional support.
Several other schools reached out as well, and although we were unable to pick up from everyone, the thoughtfulness and willingness to help meant so much to us. Your kindness reminds us that we are not alone in serving families in our community.
Thank you all for your generosity, compassion, and continued support. Together, we are making a difference.

On Friday at The Salvation Army, we were honored to celebrate Mother’s Day by sharing tokens of love with our moms and guests who wanted to express appreciation to the special women and family members in their lives. Every guest was given the opportunity to receive a gift as a reminder that love, kindness, and appreciation matter.
It was a heartfelt moment to help our guests share love with their families and make this special occasion meaningful. We are grateful to be able to spread joy, encouragement, and love throughout our community.
