Rachel Snider, the author of The Mystery of Stine: Hope After the Grave, lives in Oblong, Illinois, a small town where community and faith run deep. For nearly three decades, she worked at Hershey Chocolate Robinson while raising her children with love and dedication.
Today, Rachel is semi-retired and occasionally assists a local monument company, while also investing in her passion for writing and sharing stories of hope. She continues to serve her local youth group and youth camp, where she pours into the next generation. She also leads a grief support group, offering guidance and support to those navigating loss by providing a space for healing conversations, shared understanding, and renewed hope.
Her greatest joy is the time she spends with her granddaughter, Madi, whom she babysits full-time. In Madi’s laughter and love, Rachel sees the continuation of hope and the precious gift of family.
Through her personal tragedy and the miraculous signs that followed, Rachel discovered a calling to document and share testimonies that transcend death. Her work has brought comfort and assurance to countless families seeking hope in their own journeys of loss and faith.
