A Prayer for The New Year

Eternal GOD,
a thousand years in Your sight
are like a watch in the night.
As You led us in days past,
so guide us now in this New Year.
Guide our steps,
open our hearts,
lead us so that we may learn to
choose Your will,
as new resolves and resolutions are strengthened.
This we pray through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns now and forever.
