THIS SUNDAY AT REFRESHING CHURCH!

PACK LIGHT!

You can’t carry everything into where God is taking you!

Some of us are asking God to take us into a new season, but we’re still holding on to the baggage from the last one!

Past pain. People’s opinions. Unforgiveness. Expectations. Unnecessary responsibilities.

Everything you’re carrying isn’t necessarily sinful, but some of it is slowing you down!

Join us this Sunday as we continue our TRAVEL LIGHT sermon series with a powerful message, PACK LIGHT, from Hebrews 12:1–2.

I believe God has something to say to us about what we need to put down so we can move FORWARD!

Sunday Worship | 10:30 AM
Pastor Nelson Youngblood

Come as you are! We’re always casual, and EVERYONE is welcome!

Don’t just come to church this Sunday. Come ready to leave some baggage behind!

PRAY FOR YOUR PASTOR.

Sometimes the greatest battles a Pastor faces are the ones nobody knows about.

While encouraging others, they’re fighting to stay encouraged. While praying for others, they’re seeking strength for themselves. While leading people forward, they’re still processing what they’ve been through.

The calling is a privilege, but the weight is real.

Don’t mistake their consistency for the absence of struggle. Just because they keep showing up doesn’t mean they’re not carrying something heavy.

Cover your Pastor in prayer. Not just when they’re preaching, but when they’re processing. Not just when they’re leading, but when they’re grieving.

Your Pastor needs prayer, too.

PINK OUT SUNDAY WAS WONDERFUL!

What an incredible day of worship, love, unity, and support at Refreshing Church!

We were honored to have Pastor Nelson Youngblood Jr. deliver a powerful and timely Word entitled “You Can’t Take It With You” from Genesis 12:1–4 (NLT). What a blessing!

But today was about more than wearing pink. It was about standing together, showing love, and reminding someone special that they are not walking this journey alone.

Shirley Hann, WE LOVE YOU! We are praying FOR YOU and WITH YOU! Your RC family is standing with you in faith, believing God for strength, healing, and complete restoration!

🩷 WE WEAR PINK. WE STAND TOGETHER. WE FIGHT TOGETHER! 🩷

This Sunday at Refreshing Church, we’re coming together for Joyce Thomas Breast Cancer Awareness Sunday!

We’re taking time to celebrate survivors, honor those we’ve lost, encourage those still fighting, and remind every family affected by breast cancer that YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

This year, we’re especially honored to recognize Shirley Hann, a woman of strength, courage, and faith!
