What a special morning at church as we celebrated a Parent Dedication service for 4 sweet babies! 🤍

Today was a public commitment by these parents to raise their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord, teaching them to love and follow Him all the days of their lives. What a blessing it is to come alongside these families in prayer and support as a church family! ✨

Mrs Babara Gould

Mrs. Barbara Jean Helms Gould, 86, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026, at Hospice House in Monroe. Born September 26, 1939, in Charlotte, NC, she was a daughter of the late Lester Cornelius Helms and Mary Alice Shaw. She was also preceded in death by her husband Harvey in 2018.

Memorial services will be 4 PM, Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Fairfield Community Baptist Church. The family will greet friends on Sunday in the church fellowship building from 2:45 – 3:45.

Those left to cherish her memory include sons, Jay Gould and Bill Gould (Kipsy); daughter, Caryn Helms (Robby); grandchildren, Megan Warrick (Jon), Brandon Gould, Taylor Helms Buie (James), Danny Helms, Lance Gould and Trista Gould; great grandson, Crew Buie.

The family would like to thank the dedicated caregivers from Avendelle Assisted Living, Meadowview Assisted Living and Olive Branch Family Care Home.
