It is with heartfelt sorrow that Flint Ridge East Baptist Church announces the passing of our beloved Brother James Oscar Rorie on June 3, 2026.

Brother Rorie's life was a testimony of faith, kindness, and perseverance. He touched the lives of many through his presence, his friendship, and his love for others. While our hearts grieve his passing, we rejoice in the assurance that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

We ask that you join us in praying for the Rorie family during this time of loss, that God would surround them with His comfort, peace, and strength.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Brother James Oscar Rorie will be held on Friday, June 19, at 1:00 p.m. at Flint Ridge East Baptist Church.

The church family extends its deepest condolences to all family members and friends. May we continue to uphold them in prayer and cherish the memories of a life well lived.

It is with deep sadness that Flint Ridge East Baptist Church acknowledges the passing of Sarah Griffin.

During this difficult time, we extend our heartfelt prayers, love, and condolences to the Griffin family and all who knew and loved Sarah. While words cannot remove the pain of loss, we are reminded of the comfort found in God's promises and the hope we have through faith in Jesus Christ.

Scripture reminds us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit." We pray that God's presence, peace, and strength will sustain the family in the days ahead.

As a church family, we encourage our community to lift the Griffin family up in prayer, to offer support where needed, and to cherish the memories of a life that touched many.

May the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ bring comfort to all who mourn and may His everlasting love surround the family during this season of grief.
