Thank you for this special breakfast to celebrate and honor the women in our church! Many men came early to cook this delicious meal and even our young boys helped taking up trash at each table. Was a wonderful way to start the day!

5th Wednesday means it’s time for another Wacky Wednesday! Tonight’s theme was *Shine Bright for Jesus!” We sang about being a light, read from Matthew 5 and talked about how we are bright lights when we stay away from sin and spend time with God. Mr. Bill made glow in the dark sheep for each student to take home. If you hide the sheep away in a dark place, it won’t be very bright - that’s just like us when we live in darkness, in sin. But if you allow the glow in the dark sheep to soak up some light from a flashlight, then it is very bright in the dark. When we love God deeply, spend time in the Word and in prayer, it’s like soaking up a light- God changes us to be bright lights in the dark world.

Of course we had time for a bright snack (M&m cookies and rainbow goldfish) and bright games (light up corn hole, neon balloons and light up toys).

It was a fun night for all ages! These theme nights are extra silly but still meaningful!

Stacy did an amazing job leading the Operation Christmas Child celebration service at the Union Baptist Association this afternoon. Union and Anson counties collected 25,001 shoeboxes last year. Each one is a gospel opportunity that is taken around the world! This meeting was a special time celebrating the work God is doing in this ministry.
