Have you taken a walk behind Hope church recently. Our outdoor worship area and fire pit is nearing completion. The plan is to use this space for our summer Sunday night outdoor worship services. We hope you will join us, beginning July 5.

The Susanna Circle met Thursday night for a light meal, devotions and to plan the June General UWF meeting. The remainder of the meeting was used to make a Tied Flannel Blanket to donate to the Ronald McDonald House. It's a joy to meet in fellowship, prayer and mission.

Pastor Dani will begin a new sermon series called "Holy Obscurity". Talking donkeys, drowning pigs, and sermons that bore people to literal death? Who knew the Bible told stories like these? And how do we make meaning out of these weird stories that we consider sacred? Join us on Sunday mornings for the return of a fun and funky sermon series that invites us to dive deeper into the weirdest stories told in our Bible.

The Sermon title this week will be "Lessons from a Talking Donkey" and the scripture will focus on Numbers 22: 21-33.

We invite you to join our in person or live-streamed worship service at 9:30 AM or our online worship service. Our online service will be posted on this page with a link to YouTube each Sunday mid afternoon. All are welcome.

SATURDAY MORNING PRAYER-WALKS return! Join us on the first Saturday of each summer month at 9:00 a.m. as we walk the neighborhood and pray for all who live near our church. We often walk for 30-40 minutes. Our next is June 6. Bring a friend (dog or human) and meet us in the parking lot!
