It's official! Journey through Bethlehem will live on in the loving hands of the folks at First United Methodist Church in Sedalia, MO. Look for the next Journey for Christmas of 2024. We will announce the dates and other information here on this page when it becomes available. Thanks to everyone who has participated in the Marshall JTB since we began in 2016...whether by attending or donating your time and talents as a cast or crew member. We are thrilled that the Journey will continue.

There will be a meeting to discuss the future of Journey through Bethlehem on Wed. Nov. 8th at 6 pm at First United Methodist Church fellowship hall. If you have thoughts or feelings about the continuation of this project please come.

After a two year pandemic break, Journey Through Bethlehem will be back for Christmas 2022! This interactive experience allows you to travel into the village of Bethlehem on the night of the birth of Christ. You can see townspeople...and Roman soldiers (boo!)...going about a normal evening on an evening that was anything but normal. Friday, Dec. 9th the New Life Center at First United Methodist Church in Marshall will be transformed into the town of Bethlehem from 6 to 9 pm. One night only! If you would like to help set up or serve as a hospitality or cast member please talk to Pastor Keith at First UMC or Pastor Randy at Marshall Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Journey through Bethlehem will not be held in 2021. To guard the safety of our cast and our guests we believe postponing another year would be a good idea. Look for us, hopefully, in 2022!
