Emmanuel Grand Turn Church

Emmanuel Grand Turn Church We our a historic, country church south of Marshall, Illinois, and aim to be a friendly, relaxed, and encouraging body of Christians growing in our faith.

We are made up of young and old, new Christians and long-time believers, all seeking to live our faith in service to God. We focus on solid teaching, life-giving relationships, and mutual care for each other and the wider world. We love and worship Jesus Christ and seek to follow him. We welcome you to join us!

🌟Sunday Sermon recap 🌟

Travis Beckner was back with us Sunday and shared the message, "The Immediate and the Ultimate" from Lamentations 3:21-24

Jeremiah's circumstances were bad. He experienced grief, sorrow and some dark moments. But even in the darkest point of his life, he still had faith in God. He still had hope. 🙏

And that's the reminder we all need: The Light of the Lord still shines through the darkness. God's steadfast love for His people is bound by His promise. He comforts us. He sees us. The Lord sees YOU. ❤️

God is an AWESOME God! And it's by his Grace that we are saved. What a gift! 🎁

✨️Sunday Sermon recap ✨️

This past Sunday we were blessed to have guest speaker Travis Beckner with us. Travis shared a message titled, "Stir Up Affection for the Lost" - Romans 9:1-3 ❤️

The purpose is to share the Gospel and bring about God's purpose. We're called to share. We have freedom in Christ, we've been made children of God, and we look forward to being glorified. 🙌

And guess what? Travis will be back next Sunday! We'd love for you to join us

Sunday Sermon recap ✨️🙏

"Think about it-how could you leave the Grace of Christ?" 📖 Galatians 3

This week, Pastor Ben took us into Galatians 3 and asked a BIG question: What does it mean to come to Christ by Faith alone?

Paul didn't hold back! He reminded the Galatians that their relationship with Christ didn't begin with works-it began with FAITH. Did you receive the Spirit? Are you walking with Christ? Are you trusting God?

Paul points them back to Abraham, who believed God-and because of that faith, he was counted as righteous. And the same promise is for us! 🙌

The law had a purpose. It was like a guardian to guide us until Christ came. But when Christ came, we were no longer under that guardian. The promise didn't change-the promise is still a promise today!

💡We don't live by works. We live by FAITH.
Believe. Receive. Trust God. Christ lives in YOU! ❤️

It's really simple folks: BELIEVE AND RECEIVE!
