Glory Ridge

Glory Ridge Somewhere in the mountains, at a place called Glory Ridge, a carpenter still mends hearts. Glory Ridge is a multi-denominational Christian camp founded in 1973.

The camp is located in Madison County, North Carolina on 26 acres overlooking the French Broad River. The camp has been used by local and out of state groups alike. Glory Ridge is a simple place for Christian retreat & worship all year long. During the summer, Glory Ridge hosts church youth groups who come for weeklong mission trips to help neighbors in Madison County with urgent home repairs need

Week 9 of summer ministry welcomed St. Mary’s Kinston last week. This crew helped build two decks and do work around the animal shelter. We had a huge rainstorm last week but didn’t let it stop us from having a talent show and go white water rafting! This group was so full of energy and brought warmth to everything they did.

For week 8 of our summer ministry, St Paul’s Edenton came to spread a little love. They did things like random acts of kindness, volunteering at the animal shelter, having a free animal vaccine clinic, built a deck, and painted at WCC. St Paul’s brought so much joy and love to the community this week!
