Marshall Church of Christ We are a fellowship of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ located in southwest Michigan What We believe:

In the one true God revealed in the Bible.

God the Father sent His only son, Jesus, to be the Savior of all mankind Jesus lived a life without sin, dying on the cross as a common criminal and ultimately was raised from the dead into glory where He now sits at the right hand of God

The Bible:
Is the inspired word of God. We have complete confidence that God inspired each man that wrote the books of the Bible; from Genesis to Revelation. I

s the source of our hope, gives us direction for our lives, and gives us strength when we face temptation
Our goal is to "speak where the Bible speaks and be silent where the Bible is silent"
We are committed to the continual study of God's Word, the Bible, to see how we can most closely give God the personal and collective worship He deserves and desires. The Church:
Spoken of in the Bible, consist of God's people on earth
We are the Body of Christ and He is the head of the body (Galatians 5:23)
We do not view ourselves as a denomination, with man made rules and regulations, but simply see us as the body of our Savior, following His teachings and commands.

Even when we walk away, God never stops pursuing His children.

This short clip from our Father’s Day message on the Prodigal Son reminds us of a truth woven through the entire Bible: you may have given up on God, but God has never given up on you.

The Father in Jesus’ parable doesn’t wait with crossed arms — He runs toward the one who wandered. That same grace is still running toward you today.

Galatians 6:2 calls us to carry one another’s burdens — not as an option, but as an expectation.

When we support fellow Christians, we strengthen the body of Christ. But when we carry the burdens of those who don’t yet know Jesus, something powerful happens: our love becomes a sermon.

Every act of compassion, every moment of kindness, every burden we lift becomes a living picture of the gospel. People see Jesus in the way we love them.

The gospel is not about men trying harder, doing better, or cleaning ourselves up.
Romans 3:20 makes it clear — no amount of effort can make us righteous.

But the good news is this:
Jesus accomplished what we never could.

Luke 9:23–24 calls us to deny ourselves, surrender our lives, and follow Him.
And when we do, God places the righteousness of Christ on us (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Not because we earned it — but because Jesus paid it all.

This is the foundation of biblical masculinity:
Not self‑reliance, but Christ‑dependence.
Not self‑salvation, but Christ’s sacrifice.
Not trying to appear righteous, but being made righteous in Him.

When men follow God’s design, everything changes.
In this clip from our sermon on Biblical Manhood, we look at how God’s order for men creates the foundation for a strong marriage, strong children, and a strong home.

But our culture flips God’s design upside down — chasing intimacy before commitment, dragging shame into relationships, and ignoring the calling God placed on men from the beginning.

Scriptures in this clip:
1 Corinthians 16:13‑14 — “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.”
1 Timothy 6:11 — “Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness.”
