Stop letting other people’s fear become your direction.

I have learned that one of the quickest ways to lose direction is to keep handing your future over to other people's opinions.
People mean well.
But sometimes people will hand you their fears, their disappointments, and their limitations without realizing it.
Someone who gave up too early may tell you to stop trying.
Someone who stopped believing may tell you to lower your expectations.
Someone who never healed may tell you not to trust again.
But hear me this morning:
Not every voice deserves influence.��Isaiah 30:21 (KJV)�And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it...
When God gives you an assignment, you cannot allow confusion and noise to become your compass.

Here are 4 reminders to regain your focus:
1. Pray before you seek opinions.�Proverbs 3:6�In all thy ways acknowledge him...
2. Protect your mind from constant negativity.�Philippians 4:8
3. Commit your plans to God.�Proverbs 16:3
4. Follow God's direction over popular opinion.�Romans 12:2
Today, be careful who you allow to speak into what God is building.
