God's Work, Our Hands Sunday, the ELCA's annual day of service, is a blessed opportunity for all our congregations to celebrate who we are as a church, engaging in projects and activities that explore our convictions as Lutherans: that all life in Jesus flows from a living, daring confidence in God’s grace. “God’s work. Our hands.” is officially Sun, Sept. 13, but this Sunday (Sept 6), we get ready for our day of service by packing blessing bags for the unhoused during worship. Next week we will bless the hands that serve as a team of individuals go to the North Shore to partner with in feeding those in need.

You are invited to the fall Bible Study, The Lutheran Lens of Christian Basics, as we explore the scripture behind Martin Luther's explanations of the Ten Commandments, Baptism, Communion, and more.

Each Sunday, we practice worship, we practice life as church, so that we can continue the work of the church Monday - Saturday. You are invited to come and practice worship and life as church at St. John Lutheran Church on Sundays at 9:00am. All are welcome.
