Congrats to Pastor Shane who has received the I. Ruth Martin Award. This award was established by I. Ruth Martin, a member of the Mars Hill College class of 1938, and is presented each year to a member of the Mars Hill community who, acting from their Christian faith, has served faithfully with no spotlight attention or public recognition.

Pastor Shane was especially thankful for receiving this award, because he too was part of the Mars Hill University class of 1938. 😂

So thankful for the commitment the members of Beech Glen makes in serving Christ in our community. It is a joy to serve Christ with them daily.
We are also grateful for the leadership of Dr. Tony Floyd at Mars Hill University these past eight years. He has been used by God in a mighty way on the campus and in the community. We wish him and Terri the very best in their future.
Teresa Buckner, also a member of BGBC, is behind the camera, serving on the MHU campus each day.

Enjoyed hosting MHS Lady Patriot Soccer team last night. We love this team and are pulling for them as they close out the season.
