June is the month traditionally dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus ๐Ÿ™

As May comes to an end, let us thank God for the blessings, lessons, and even the struggles of the past month. Some prayers have been answered. Others are still unfolding. Through it all, God has remained faithful.

June is traditionally dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. His Sacred Heart reminds us that His love is constant, His mercy is real, and His invitation to return to Him never ends.

Maybe this is the month you pray more faithfully.
Maybe this is the month you return to Confession.
Maybe this is the month you stop putting God off until "later."

As June begins, let's place our families, worries, plans, and intentions into His hands.
May the Sacred Heart of Jesus draw us closer to Him and fill our lives with His peace.

๐Ÿ’ฌ What's one thing you're trusting the Sacred Heart of Jesus with this month?

The second decade will be offered for those who bring words of hope and the comfort of faith to populations living under conflict.
The third decade will honor medical personnel, paramedics, and volunteers providing humanitarian aid in war zones.
The fourth decade will be dedicated to prisoners, those enduring violence, and all who suffer humiliations that violate human dignity.
The fifth and final decade will be offered for an end to war and the establishment of lasting peace throughout the world.
Let us entrust the world to the intercession of Mary, Queen of Peace.

PENTECOST SUNDAY MARKS THE BIRTHDAY OF THE CHURCH

Pentecost marks the birthday of the Church because it is on this day that Pentecost descended upon the Apostles, transforming them from fearful followers into bold proclaimers of the Gospel.

Before Pentecost, the disciples were hidden in fear after the crucifixion of Jesus. But when the Holy Spirit came upon them like a rushing wind and tongues of fire, everything changed. They were filled with courage, wisdom, and power to go out and preach Christ to all nations.

This moment is considered the โ€œbirthโ€ of the Church because it was the beginning of its public mission โ€” the moment the Gospel was no longer kept in a small room but was proclaimed to the whole world.

From that day onward, the Church became alive and active, guided not by human strength alone, but by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Pentecost reminds us that the Church is not just a human institution, but a living body continually renewed by Godโ€™s Spirit. And just as the first disciples were strengthened, we too are called to be renewed, empowered, and sent forth today.

Come, Holy Spiritโ€”renew Your Church and renew our hearts. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
