Join us for a special morning of worship as we welcome Deux Saisons Duo to Marquette Hope! We are delighted that they will be sharing beautiful service music alongside Mary and Erin during worship.

About Deux Saisons Duo:
Featuring soprano Keri Lee Pierson and classical guitarist Christopher Schoelen, Deux Saisons presents engaging concerts that blend old and new classical repertoire, spanning from the Renaissance to the present day.

French for "two seasons," Deux Saisons is dedicated to bringing
classical music to the wider community through performances in unique venues—including farms, libraries, breweries, and concert halls—while fostering audience participation and using music as a tool for education, connection, and restoration.

Professor Pierson is currently Instructor of Voice at NMU, and head of the voice area; Dr. Schoelen is adjunct faculty at NMU, leading our guitar area, and maintains a very large private studio.

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience their artistry within
our worship service.

All are welcome! It is also Communion Sunday, and everyone is invited to receive communion.

Marquette Hope's FIRST CAMPUS has some exciting worship music
scheduled. Please join us and hear some special music by some very
special guests:

August 2: Deux Saisons
August 9: Bron Harmon, Mackenzie Buher, mother/daughter duet
August 16: Erin Colwitz and Mary Burbey, piano duet
August 23: Ava Brege, mezzo-soprano
August 30: Charles Orr, tenor

Deux Saisons presents concerts with diverse collections of old and new
classical repertoire. Featuring soprano Keri Lee Pierson, and
classical guitarist Christopher Schoelen, this voice and guitar duo
performs works that extend from the Renaissance through the present
day. Professor Pierson and Dr. Schoelen both teach at NMU in the Music

You may recognize Bron Harmon's name. Bron and her musical daughter,
Mackenzie will present a vocal duet. Ava Brege is a Choral Music
Education major at NMU and studies with Dr. Colwitz. Charles Orr is a
theatre major at NMU and sings in the Arts Chorale with Dr. Colwitz.
Both students will showcase sacred vocal pieces they have worked on in
their private study. And lastly, Mary and Erin will present some piano
duets, something they enjoy working on together in their spare time.

Please join us for our 9am service on Sundays, First Campus (no service 7-26-26: There is a combined worship service at the Negaunee Mitchell Campus at 11:00 a.m., 207 N. Teal Lake Ave., Negaunee).
