Skip the bagged lunch today, it’s Friday! You deserve a hot, homemade meal. Stop by Chesapeake UMC today or tomorrow for our Chili Dinner Fundraiser. Today, February 13 from 11:00am-4:00pm, or treat your valentine to a warm bowl of chili tomorrow, February 14 from 10:00am-3:00pm.

$10 suggested donation includes a bowl of chili, a grilled cheese, drink, and homemade dessert! All proceeds will go directly to continuing the ministry of Chesapeake United Methodist Church!

We are back to our regular schedule this week! Even though it’s still cold and snowy, we will be having service tomorrow...

We are back to our regular schedule this week! Even though it’s still cold and snowy, we will be having service tomorrow morning at Reynolds Memorial UMC in Marmet at 10:00am.

Come a little early and warm up with some coffee and donuts, and share some time with Pastor Sam before service. Coffee and donuts will be available at 9:30am.

The side entrance to the church will be cleared and salted, so please use that as the primary entrance. And as always, use your best judgment on traveling. If you have any concerns, please stay home and stay safe!

SERVICE CHANGE: Due to the ice buildup on the stairs at Reynolds Memorial, we will be having service tomorrow at Chesapeake UMC. Service will begin at 12:30pm to allow the temperature to warm up a bit.

Please use your best judgement on coming to church. The parking lot and sidewalks still have some icy spots. If you have any doubts about coming, please stay home and stay safe. Your safety is our primary concern, but we do want to open the church for those that are able to make it out to worship.

If you need anything at all, please don’t hesitate to contact us through our page, or by contacting Pastor Sam. Stay safe, and stay warm! You are loved!

Winter weather is here! This winter, make sure to check our church page regarding updates concerning our service times, cancellations, and any other adjustments we need to make in order to keep everyone safe this year!

We will do our best to make an announcement regarding Sunday services on Saturday night if possible, and no later than 8:30am on Sunday mornings.

From the Chesapeake and Reynolds Memorial churches, we are wishing you a wonderful holiday season and a very Merry Christmas! May you be blessed and warm throughout the remainder of this year and all of 2026!
