Please join us as we warmly welcome Father Carlos Zapata as he begins his ministry with us as Pastor of our parish.

Welcome receptions will be held after the 4:00 PM Vigil Mass on Saturday, July 11th, and after both Sunday morning Masses at 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM on July 12th.

This will be a wonderful opportunity for parishioners to greet Father Zapata, introduce themselves, and help him feel at home in our parish family. Let us come together in a spirit of hospitality, gratitude, and joy as we welcome him and offer our prayers and support as he begins leading our parish community.

Congratulations to Deacon John!

On June 12th, Deacon John celebrated his 49th year as a Deacon. We give thanks for his many years of faithful service, devotion, and care for all of us here at St. John Fisher Parish. His ministry has touched countless lives and continues to be a blessing to our parish family.

Throughout his many years of service, Deacon John has spent countless hours in prayer for all of us. He has visited us when we were sick, comforted us in times of sorrow, counseled us when we were troubled, and offered steady guidance whenever it was needed. He has always been ready to help, wherever and whenever he is called.

In addition to these many acts of care and compassion, Deacon John has served through preaching, assisting at Mass, celebrating baptisms, witnessing marriages, leading prayer services, and supporting families during funerals and other difficult moments. He has also helped deepen the faith of our parish through religious education, Bible study, scripture reflection, and sharing the teachings of the Church with wisdom and kindness.

Thank you, Deacon John, for all you have done and continue to do for us here at St. John Fisher Parish. May God bless you abundantly as we celebrate this wonderful milestone in your ministry.

Although the summer weather and relaxation tell us differently, our Marlborough Elementary School (MES) is busy getting ready for a new school season.

As we have for many years, our parish will once again support the needs of students requiring additional support in obtaining school supplies. We will supply backpacks filled with required supplies and need your kind support to do so.

We will shop for the items and ask for your monetary support. Please provide your donation in a check (made out to SJF) or in cash, placed in an envelope in the collection basket. We will be collecting for the next few weeks. Many thanks for starting off the academic year in a prepared and blessed way for our local students!

Since our last church directory was completed in 2010, our parish community has experienced many changes. Over the years, new families have joined our Church, while others have relocated or moved on, making the current directory outdated. Creating a new directory is an important step in strengthening our sense of community and keeping our parish family informed and engaged.

To all parish families, we ask that you scan the QR code and complete the short survey.
The responses we receive will help determine the cost and ability to proceed with a directory.

SJF - Parish Trustees: A Word of Gratitude and Welcome

On behalf of the parish family of Saint John Fisher Church, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to Peter Yorio for his many years of faithful and dedicated service as a parish trustee. Peter has generously shared his time, wisdom, and commitment to our parish's mission, helping to guide and support our community over the years. We are deeply thankful for his stewardship and countless contributions to Saint John Fisher Parish.

Effective May 21, 2026, Peter concluded his service as trustee. While we will miss his leadership in this role, we are grateful that he remains a valued member of our parish family and will continue to serve on the building committee.

At the same time, we are pleased to welcome David Wilcox, who will succeed Peter as trustee. Hence, our parish's trustees will be David Wilcox and Marlene Luebeck. We thank them for their willingness to serve and ask God's blessing upon them as they undertake this important responsibility.

Please join me in thanking Peter for his dedicated service and in welcoming David as a new trustee as he begins this new role in our parish alongside Marlene.
