With the current predicted snow time starts and the temperatures called for while we are coming and going from the church property, we have decided to cancel Faith Study and Worship for tomorrow 1/25/26.

The annual meeting will be moved to next week 2/1/26.

The building will be closed Monday and possibly Tuesday depending on the how storm clean up goes.

Bible Study will happen as normal on Monday night via Zoom unless internet goes down.

The Rev. Lucille "CeCee" Mills has been elected secretary of the ELCA! Secretary-elect Mills was elected on the fifth ballot with 51.66% of the vote.

Gracious God, you call your people to service and give them varied tasks in the world and in your church. Grant Secretary-elect Mills grace and strength, that she may serve you faithfully to the glory of your name; through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.

We are pleased to announce the election of the Rev. Yehiel Curry as presiding bishop of the ELCA! Bishop-elect Curry was elected on the fifth ballot with 70.34% of the vote.

Ever-living God, strengthen and sustain Bishop-elect Curry, that with patience and understanding he may love and care for your people. Grant that together we may follow in the way of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Spent the afternoon hanging out with some of the St. Stephen folks, lifting our voices for justice, love, and freedom for all.

Good morning and a joyous Pentecost celebration to all.

Just a reminder as we celebrate the Spirit moving in our midst in water, fire, wind, and all the other ways God moves with us, we get to worship outdoors for the first time this season.

The grass is quite dewy, but otherwise, we have a glorious day to worship in the cathedral of creation.
