Today we recognized two of our members in honor of Women’s History Month. Sis. Bettye Jones, Retired Nurse and Sis. Carol Simon Daranda, Retired Educator. Both women worked in service to the public for many years and are well known and highly regarded in their respective professions. They have had a positive impact on so many lives in the greater Avoyelles community. Both are life long members of Starlight Baptist Church. We love and respect them both tremendously!
