Anderson St Church Of Christ We are a down home church that is the final location for anyone looking for a friendly church home. Our Motto is "When you learn better, you should do better".

Sunday School: 10 am
Worship Service: 11 am
Wednesday Service: Every Wednesday after the 1st and 3rd Sunday at 6 pm The Anderson Street Church of Christ is a church dedicated to spreading the gospel of Christ. We encourage the service of our members in our community and we do much more showing than talking. It is "The Anderson Way". Our Lord was a serving person and if we are to follow in His footsteps, we are to serve one another.

Congressman Thompson Invites You to Participate in the 2026 Congressional App Challenge

Dear Honorable Lang:

I’m excited to announce that my office is hosting the 2026 Congressional App Challenge. I invite middle and high school students across Mississippi’s 2nd Congressional District to participate.

This nationwide competition encourages students to explore computer science and coding by creating an original app, website, software program, or game. Whether students are just beginning or already have experience with coding, the challenge is open to all skill levels. Students may participate individually or as part of a team from any school district or camp located in Mississippi’s 2nd Congressional District.

Projects coded on or after October 30, 2025, are eligible for submission, including projects completed during any summer programs. The deadline to submit is 11:00 a.m. CDT (12:00 p.m. EDT) on Monday, October 26, 2026.

The winning project will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol and featured on the Congressional App Challenge website for one year, alongside winning projects from congressional districts across the country.
