Camp Sonrise Mountain is a camp and retreat center, wanting to share the love of Jesus with everyone!

Established in 1966, Camp Sonrise Mountain started as a Christian summer youth camp and has grown into a year-round camp and retreat center. With 120 acres of God's beautiful creation, nestled among the rich hills of Maryland and Pennsylvania, it's a great place to grow spiritually, connect with God, and share the love of Jesus.

Step aside summer camp…it’s time for retreats!! 🍁🥳❄️ Camp SoMo’s youth programming isn’t just summer camp, we also have four youth retreats throughout the year!

🍁 Junior High Fall Retreat (for campers grades 6-8) is October 23-25. 🍁

🍂 Senior High Fall Retreat (for campers grades 9-12) is November 6-8. 🍂

❄️ Junior High Arctic Blast (for campers grades 6-8) is February 5-7. ❄️

⛄️ Senior High Arctic Blast (for campers grades 9-12) is February 19-21. ⛄️

⭐️ Registration for all retreats is open now! If your camper did not attend summer camp, sign up at campsonrisemountain.org/retreats. If your camper did attend summer camp and you already have a Campsite account, register through your parent portal. A link to the parent log-in can be found at the site above. ⭐️

This Sunday, August 16, is our Friends and Family Community Fun Day! There will be swimming, kids' activities, campfire, and dinner. It all kicks off at 2 pm with dinner at 5pm. We hope to see you here for fun and fellowship with the whole camp community! This event is totally free! We just ask that you bring a covered dish (and maybe a friend too!) Can't wait to celebrate with you all! ☀️☺️

Join us here at camp on August 16th for a great day of friends and fellowship! We'll kick off our day at 2:00 pm with the pool 🏊 opening up. Dinner will be at 5:00 🍽️ and stick around for a good ole fashioned Camp Sonrise Mountain campfire 🏕️ afterwards! We'll have games, kids' activities, and good vibes all day long, so bring a friend and join in on the fun! We can't wait to see you here! 🧡

⛳️ Mark your calendar! It’s time for the annual Camp Sonrise Mountain Golf Outing! ⛳️

Join us Saturday, September 12th at King’s Mountain Golf Course for a great day of golf, good company, and friendly competition!

We are limited to just 16 teams. It's filled up quickly in the past, so be sure to send in your registration soon to secure your place on the green!

We’ve are also looking for sponsorships. If you’re able, we’d greatly appreciate it if you could share the word (and this post!) with your network—family, friends, coworkers, or any businesses that might be interested in supporting the mission of Camp Sonrise Mountain. Every sponsor helps us continue to do God's work here at camp and keep costs as low as possible for our campers and their families!

The 2026 ARC Summer Camp season has come to a close. We are beyond blessed for all the ways God worked here this summer and so incredibly thankful for every person who showed up with a willing servant's heart. Throughout the one weekend and four weeks of camp, we had 278 campers having fun, making friends, and most importantly, learning a whole lot about Jesus. 💚

All we do is for the glory of God's Kingdom so we thank you all so much for your prayers and support in our mission. 🙏🙌
