I’m so thankful to call you friend. Your kindness and generosity are a reflection of Christ in your hearts.

Rev. Charlotte Knox has been appointed as your new Pastor. She and her husband Troy will be here to serve you along with the members of Lepanto UMC on July 1st. She is moving from serving as a lay member in her home Church at Melbourne UMC. She recently completed Local Pastor Licensing School, and this will be her first appointment. Please be in prayer for her and her family as well as the church in this season of transition.

Our final night of revival at Bay UMC (300 Central Ave.) will feature Pastor Peaches Smith and we are looking forward to an inspiring message!!

Pastor Peaches currently serves the people of Salem United Methodist Church and Wesley United Methodist Church in Conway, Arkansas.

A gifted storyteller and passionate communicator of the Gospel, she is the author of 13 children's books and the host of a weekly podcast and daily devotional series that encourage and inspire listeners around the world.

She serves as a facilitator of “When We Becomes Me” a ministry supporting widows on their journey toward healing and hope. Rev. Smith is also the Chairperson of the Licensed Local Pastors and Associate Members in the Arkansas Conference, where she helps nurture and support clergy in their call to ministry.

A devoted mother of seven and grandmother of three, Rev. Smith’s messages—both online and in person—regularly reach viewers across the African continent and beyond. She brings a powerful testimony of faith, resilience, and purpose, and is honored to share in this revival as we celebrate the stories of the resurrected Christ.
