Wounded for our transgressions,

But he was wounded for our transgressions, was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Beloved we heard this preached in so many ways, and some that are twisted, not completely correct.
This verse tells us a story of Jesus, loving us individually so much that He pays the price for us. JESUS, suffered that payment for us, for me for you for the whole world, yes even those who reject Him.
If our love is commanded by Him to love as He does, then that only leaves our own self rightouess attitude makeing us think that we are better than others.
Our own self righteousness, leaves us believing that our sin isnt bad enough to be forgivin, but for others as they treat us badly, as they gossip about us, as they put us down, abuse us, we think unstatedly that their sin is just to great to be forgivin.
Farthest from truth that we can get. Beloved we are commanded to love just as Jesus loves us John 15:9, we are commanded to forgive, even when not asked to, we are just to forgive.
Beloved we have heard this scripture preached we are healed, spiritually, physically, and mentally. We are beloved, but understand not all are healed of things that happen in this world.
Understand beloved, that this scripture starts it and finishes itself, in that we have all we need, no matter what happens in this world.
We have eternal life. We have peace, we have joy, we have it all. Bought payed for and finished.
What we have is so much more than anyone can preach about. It's so much more than anyone can understand. In fact we who are His will spend an eternity learning about His love for us, we will never exhaust the meaning behind Gods love for just one of us.
For us to deny or walk away from such a great magnificent gift is absolute foolishness. You gotta be crazy, but the road is wide and many find and walk there as Mat. States so eloquently. Yes as Isaiah says hell expandeth, it opens its jaws like a snake just to be able to recieve the bounty of souls dying and coming into separation of light. Paraphrased of course. The meaning is the same.
Beloved nothing can take us out of His hands or separate us from Him or His love except our own choice, to be separated.
That's what this verse is about. Darkness beloved is lack of light, God is light one day we wont need the sun, moon or stars for He will be our source of light.
But it's our choice to recieve that light. Jesus is a gentleman and will not step on your choice He will always allow you to make your own decision. It breaks His heart so great a gift a painful one at that to have you, and way to many reject such a great gift of love.
If we love God then we will love others, period!!! Our lack of love even for an enemy shows our lack of love for Jesus. Did you know that????
We must start individually learning of this love this amazing love, through a relationship with Him.
The first step is always saying yes to Jesus, then pursuing a relationship that will NEVER LET YOU DOWN.
Know it's for me, it's for you, it's for even those who hate Him. Its their problem beloved not yours, your problem is figuring this love out in your life, and then showing this love exactly as Jesus showed it to a dead and dying world.
Yes even to His enemies. Roman's says were all enemies until Jesus brought us peace, it says that not one is good no not one, it says that Jesus died for our sins yours, mine, the worlds yet while we were yet sinners.
If we are to love like Jesus commands us to, and love like He loves then why do we get so self rightouess, with others? Yes even our enemies???
Beloved I wanna encourage in a time where things make our heart grow cold, we are tired, some broken, distraught of all the sin we see around us.
Take heart Jesus has got this. We dont have to, our only part is to allow even our enemy to see Him best we can. Be like Jesus beloved passionately, painstakingly, suffer for it, when you do you suffer for Christ He will reward you openly.
