Cera Smith Ministries CSM is about equipping people with the knowledge of the Kingdom of God that lives within them. It's the truth that we know that sets us free.

Jesus warned in Hos 4:6 that His people would perish for a lack of knowledge. I am honored to share this Gospel

SPIRITUAL REALITY

Experiencing the Abundant life starts with knowledge and understanding!

We've been Reconciled!!! Jesus paid our debt to sin and destroyed the veil of separation (sin) that stood between God and mankind (His creation)
Is 59:2, Col1:21, eph 2;12, Rom 3:23, Mt 27:51, Heb 10:20, Ex 26:33

Now, through a New birth experience, we can recieve a New Spirit (heart)! We become a New Creature in Christ, something that never existed before! We are one again in spirit. EZ 36:26, 1Jn 4:17, 1 Cor 6:17 , Jn 17:21,1Jm 4:15, Jn 15:5, Rom 8:16-17, Eph 2:8, 1 Cor 12:12,Rom 15:5,
1Jn 4:16, Rom 5:5

Through this transaction, God placed in us everything that pertains to life and Godliness. 2 Pt 1:3.

The transaction/change occurs in the spirit of man. We pass from death to life, no longer dead (spiritually separated from God) trapped in trespass and sin, but NOW being made alive in our spirit by a new spiritual birth ( regeneration).
JN 5:24, Eph 2:1, Jn 3:3, 1Pet 1:23, Eph 2 5, Rom 5:1-17

In the Beginning....
Gen 1:26 -28, 2:7, 2:16-17
God created man in His image and likeness and gave him dominion. Then death occured to all mankind because of Adam's disobedience. Rom 5:12
In Gen 2:16 -17 God warning Adam... "but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." He died a spiritual death that day. God's spirit and man's spirit were separated. Man was NOW disonnected from God spiritually and would operate-functional by physical- flesh or carnal means. His soul would now rule over him with carnal- fleshly thoughts, actions and attitudes. Rom 5:12 -19.

Of course sin brought all kinds of death, but
"Die" here means to separate from, not stop existing. Here, God's spirit separates from his creation.

Our focus is on a spiritual reconnection through God's work and then our acceptance of His offer of salvation.

Everything we need for life and Godliness flows from the Well of living water onside of our born again spirit!

2 Pet 1-4 Peter is saying His grace and His peace be multiplied to us in the knowledge of God and Jesus. His divine power hath given unto us exceeding great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. His work of Reconciliation for His creation is complete.

For the believer, there is now a well of living water on the inside of their being. We have come alive in Him and have been restored, made new in our spirit. Our mind (soul) must now catch up with that spiritual reality.

It's a process of replacing old thoughts with scriptures.

In Rom 12:2
Paul is encouraging the believer to be renewed in knowledge of our new identity in Christ, denying the world system and carnal fleshly approaches to this world
It's the word-truth we know and understand about the finished work of God that makes or brings us freedom

God is seated on the throne. We are seated with him spiritually. Eph 2:6

His WORK of reconciliation is complete!

Be blessed #!

Go to the Well!

Don't let a lack of knowledge keep you from receiving all that has been restored to you through your new, born-again spirit!

You're a New Creation....

Notice "Shall be in him a well "
John 4:4 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Old Testament saints were looking forward to that which was to come, New Testament saints, are looking at the finished work of Christ. We are able to be born again, reconciled, redeemed, restored, made righteous.

In Adam, our old spirit was dead (separated) from the life and power (the well) of God. But because we were so valuable to God, He made Jesus to be cursed and separated, bearing the full weight of sin and judgment for us so that we could be reconciled to our Creator.

When we believe on Jesus, 2 Cor 5:17 says old things pass away, behold all things become new! We've been reconciled to God! We've become a New creation. Eph 4:24 says we have put on the new man which has been created in righteousness and true holiness.

Eph 2:1 Reveals that God quickened us (we've been made alive in the spirit) 1 Jn 4:17 We are as Jesus is in the spirit, 2 Cor 5:16-21
2 Pt 1:3 His provision is in us. Eph 2: 3-6 and 4:24 our new spirit was created in righteousness and true holiness. etc.

According to 2 Peter 1:3, God's divine power has ALREADY given us everything that that we need for life and Godliness, through our knowledge of him who called us by His own glory and goodness. We already have His great and precious promises; they are in the new spirit (new creature) There is no lack in the new spirit.

How do you get the truth of your new man to manifest from your spirit into the natural realm? The apostle Paul taught that we make our faith effective (work) by acknowledging what we already have in Christ! 1JN 4:17 As He is, so are we in this world.

Philemon 6:1
That the communication of our faith is made affective by the acknowledging of every good and perfect thing within you in Christ Jesus.

Thank you, God, for loving your creation so much that you would become flesh, become our sin and die in our place!

I encourage you today to remain steadfast in studying the scriptures with the understanding that salvation is more than a heaven - hell issue, it's about relationship, restoration, reconciliation between two parties (the creator & the created)
Praise God we are redeemable because of His great sacrifice!

Blessings and love,

Accepted and Enlightened in Christ

Good morning!

I pray your soul is prospering in the knowledge and understanding of God's abounding grace towards His Creation.

According to Ephesians 1:4-6, God the Father chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be Holy and without blame before Him.

It's God's grace that makes us accepted in the beloved!

Eph 1:7 reveals to us that we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Eph 1:8-9 declares that God has abounded towards us wisdom and prudence

Heb 9:12 declares Jesus obtained eternal redemption for us

Eph 1:15-20 The Apostle Paul prayed that the Lord would give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

Paul prayed that the eyes of our understanding would be enlightened to "The hope of His calling, And what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-word who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly place"

According to Romans 8:37
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us, because Eph 1:19 we now have the exceeding greatness of his power working in us.

2 Cor 5: 17
Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

See yourself as God does.... You are more than a Conqueror!

Have a marvelous day!

Drawing out Knowledge

Our Spirit knows all things. Our "born again" spirit came with the mind of Christ.
1 Cor 2:16 "For who hath know the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ"

Our new spirit came with the mind of Christ that already knows all things. The new creation (Christian) needs to learn how to draw that knowledge out into the physical realm.

This is called "revelation knowledge"

Our spirit mind and natural mind are 2 separate entities.
Immediately, at salvation -after we are born again, we must put on the mind of Christ in our natural mind, or cloth our natural mind with scripture, replacing old thoughts and perceptions with new spiritual ones.

Rom 12:2 And, be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

As a new creature, we are called to think differently, not allowing our thoughts to conform to the worlds way of thinking (natural way)
We must train our mind to agree with the new spirit mind of Christ.

Blessings!

Violence has a Root....

I recently spoke at a Domestic Violence Awareness event, where I met with many people who had been the victims of "domestic violence." I was honored to love them, ministering truth and hope to their soul, for God is near to the broken-hearted!

WARNING: THIS CONTENT CAN BE CONSIDERED GRAPHIC

Domestic violence is nothing new. Genesis 3 is where all evil and wickedness, including emotional, mental, verbal, physical, *urder, *ape, theft, financial all entered the world at the fall of man, when Adam rebelled against God.

History:

Sin caused death (separation) from God Gen 2:17 Man's heart became evil.

Mt 15:19-20
"For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slander, 20. These are what defile a person. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile anyone.

In Gen 4:8 We see a narrative of violence, anger, revenge and *urder of Abel by his brother Cain.

Gen 34 recounts the disgusting story of Jacob's daughter Dinah's being *aped by Shechem, and the revenge of her brothers.
narrative: negotiation, deception, revenge, degeneration, lawlessness and consequences.

Judges 19 -21 A horrific story of a Levite and his concubine. *ape, death, violent acts lead to a civil war among the Israelites.

Gen 6:11 states the earth was "corrupt" and filled with violence in God's sight. This corruption set the stage for God wiping out His creation with the flood

Gen 6:6 The violence in the days of Noah were so destructive that God was sorrowful that He ever created mankind.

We can't defeat evil (sin) with natural solutions...

The antidote to violence (sin) is the restoration of God's creation to their Creator through the process of a new birth.

Jesus paid our debt to sin. He made a way for us to be reconciled to our creator by being born again from heaven. John 3:3

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on the name of Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
And how shall they preach , except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things!
Rom 10:17 so then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, For it is the power of God unto salvation, for the Jew first and also the Greek.

We have been given a mandate to preach and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Mt 28:19

I pray you are filled with boldness as you go and preach the Good news of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, deception is broken and people are delivered from darkness.

Amen and Amen!

Good afternoon 🙂

The Word of God is our Weapon!

When Jesus was tempted, this was His response...
"And Jesus answered him saying, it is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God." Luke 4:4

As new creations who live in a physical body, our response to every temptation/situation should be the same as Jesus'. IT IS WRITTEN!

We can't fight spiritual battles with natural resources or responses. The Word of God is our only resource, because, it is spirit, it is truth, and it is life. The Word of God is the sword that believers use to come against and effectively defeat darkness. The Word of God is also what we use to succeed in this life! The Word of God must be rooted and grounded in our heart so that we are not double minded about it being truth!

2 Pt 1-4
To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus our Lord.
as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that by these, you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Jesus answered every temptation with, "It is written" because He knew that Gods provision had already been established in scripture.

The Bible is a big book about reconciliation. Rest assured, provision for any of life's issues are already established and written down for our benefit.

Jesus was fully persuaded that the written Word of God was sufficient. We can be fully persuaded too, by meditating on the word until Christ is formed in (us in our thoughts) Gal 4:19

Love and Blessings!

Good morning! I pray this finds you well!

A Prosperous Soul....

3 Jn 2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your SOUL prospers.

There is a huge connection between the condition of our soul and experiencing a prosperous life.

The heart of man, or inner man (NT) consist of both the spirit and the soul. The born-again spirit is whole and always in agreement with truth. Our soul (mind, will, emotions, thoughts, attitudes etc.) needs renewed to truth, and can only be transformed into His likeness with spiritual truth-realities of the new man.

1 Pt 3:4 speaks of the hidden person of the heart. Our heart is our inward man also known as the spirit and soul.

Our NEW Spirit is already lit. It is the light, but the soul has to yield, submit and conform to Christ's likeness. That likeness is referring to the Mind of Christ, Christ's thoughts.

Mt 5:14-16 You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Prov 22:5 Thorns and snares are in the way of the
crooked and perverse: he that does keep his soul shall be far from them.

Mt 6:22 The lamp (light) of the body is the eye.

In Mt 6:22-23 the eye is referring to the soul.

Mt 6:23 "But if your eye (soul) is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness.

Our soul is what magnifies the Lord, it's Our spirit that rejoices!

Lk 1:46 "My soul magnifies the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.

Whatever our soul magnifies becomes great in our sight....

We can see the soul magnify situations here with the beautiful example of Mary, Joshua and Caleb, and also in negative ways such as the ten spies. Their soul magnified fear and defeat, instead of magnifying the Lord and His provision.

Eph 4:23 commands us to "be renewed in the spirit (attitude) of our mind."

Rom 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may PROVE what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Blessings and love!

Don't Shrink Back.... Be the Light!

Evil is nothing new, it's been here since the beginning of time.

The assassination of Charlie Kirk, a conservative-spiritual commentator in America, the stabbing murder of Iryna Zarutska, an innocent Ukrainian refugee who fled Ukraine for safety in America, and the Georgia School shootings (not to mention many more)
awakens us to the fact that evil has no mercy!

My heart goes out to the families of these horrific tragedies as well as all who witnessed them. These tragic events have opened our eyes to the fact that evil will prevail if we continue to do nothing.
These Evil acts are blatant and in our face!

We need a spiritual awakening in this world because EVIL loves to radicalize idle minds. The mind of man is where the enemy attacks the people. The mind is the incubator for all thoughts, it doesn't matter if the thoughts are good or evil, whatever we fill our hearts-minds with will eventually be spoken with actions following.

I have listed a few scriptures below for reference:

Prov 23:7 For as he thinks in his heart so is he.
Prov. 23:7 is saying a persons inner thoughts and motivations reveal their true nature. Believers nature was changed from Adam to that of Christ. We must put on Christ in our minds. The mind- thoughts control the actions of a man.

Phil 4:8 Whatever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely etc. think on thing that are of good report.

Ps 139:23 Search me O God and know my thoughts

Prov 4:23 Guard your heart with all diligence

2Cor 10:5 take every thought captive

Rom 12:2 renew your mind

James 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways

Phil 2:5 let this mind be in you, which is also in Christ Jesus

Eph 4:22-24 That you put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts.

God is love....

Jesus came to pay our debt to sin, reconciling the world back to himself, thus bringing us back to the place of sonship with our Father. (We were separated from Him)

We've been reconciled. We were created with His image initially, lost His image thru Adam, regained it thru the new birth-salvation, we now bear His image again in spirit form, our mind, which is where we reason, can only be transformed to the truth of God's word through scripture. Rom 12:2

You cant see it, (your spirit) because it is spiritual. You only see the temple, vessel or body that carries -contains Christ's spirit in the earth realm.

Here is what Jesus said....
Mt 5:14-16 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

We are not of this world, We reside here to shine the light! Go Spread the Good News of the Gospel, for it is the power of God unto Salvation! Rom 1:16

Blessings and love!

Good morning!

It's a great day in the Lord!

The condition of our heart is a life and death matter.

Mt 12:34,35 O generation of vipers, how can you, being evil speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Mt 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil Things.

The journey for believers is about us allowing Spirit and Truth to fill our SOUL causing our heart to be single again towards God and His Kingdom!

Our heart is our entire inner man- spirit/soul.

Our spirit is now new and identical to Christ, ( 1 Jn 4:17, 2 Cor 5:17) but our soul must be clothed, putting on the mind of Christ so that we are single minded in Him and this new creation we have become. When we do this, we are no longer double minded and tossed about by every wind of doctrine.

Rom 12 :2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

Heb 10:22 Draw near with a true heart.
By making room for God' word in our soul.

Ps 37:4 "Delight in the Lord, and HE will give you the desires of your heart."

We must make room for God in our soul (Mind, thoughts, will, emotions, feelings)

This is how our soul is transformed. We are changing old thoughts and reasoning for the written Word of God. Rom 12:2

Phil 2:5 let this mind be in you that is also in Christ Jesus.

Blessings and love ❤️

Good morning!

I hope you woke up this morning focusing on the finished work of Christ. I hope you have joy in your heart and your eye is single to the things of God.

It's God's will for us to enter into His rest. Actually, God has commanded us to enter into that rest so we do not end up as the generation before us.

In Heb 4:1- 4:13 study

The fear of not entering his rest and the fear of God are the only times that fearing God was used in a non sin context.

Typically, fear would be a sin because as believers we have been given everything that pertains to life and godliness through Christ Jesus. Not trusting God's promises guarantees a failure.

Heb 4:1-Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.

Heb 4:2-3 For indeed the Gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He hath said:
"So I swore in My wrath, "They shall not enter My rest," although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

Heb 4:4-5 For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: "And God rested on the seventh day from all His works", and again in this place: "They shall not enter My rest."

This "certain place" was on Genesis 2:2 which shows that from the beginning of creation God demonstrated rest.

Believers don't have to strive. All of His work is completed. We just need to learn to receive His provision through faith. We have the faith!

2 Pt 1:1-4 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and savior Christ Jesus.

2. Grace and peace be multiple unto you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

3. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.

4. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

The Israelites fell short of the rest of God, but we don't have to....

Love and blessings!

Hold on to your Confidence!

All believers recieve a new spirit when they become born again. But, daily we must "choose" to become partakers of the new birth. It's not just automatic because we received new life.

Heb 3:14 For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end.

Becoming a "partaker of Christ" requires believers to hold on to their confidence. Their confidence comes from the word of God and the exceeding great and precious promises!

2 Pt 1:3-4 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us to glory and virtue.

4. Whereby are given unto us exceedingly great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

We want to partake of His divine nature, so, dont let go of your confidence. Stay steadfast until you see the manifestation of those exceedingly great and precious promises.

Be blessed!

Good morning!

Are you putting off the Old thoughts?

The key to a prosperous Christian life is to put off the old man with its old thoughts, and put on the new man who has the mind of Christ!

In other words, stop functioning by carnal fleshly reasonings that came with the mind of Adam. Put those things away, and function by the power of the spirit that lives in you.

We must recognize carnal or natural considerations or reasonings are of Adam. The soul, (mind will and emotions) were affected at the fall. In Adam, we had no ability to function above a natural level of knowledge or thinking.

Now that we are reconciled to God., we are to put off "'old man" thoughts and put on the mind of Christ. We are to walk in the spirit.

Rom 8:12-13" Therefore brethren, we are debtors, not to flesh, to live after the flesh."

For if you live after the flesh, you shall die: but if you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body; you shall live. For as many are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

We are reconciled to God. We are not to live according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit if Christ lives in us.

Reconciled means to co exist in harmony, a disagreement settled etc.

Genesis is known as the book of beginnings. Here, we can study our origin. We were created in Gods IMAGE. God is a spirit. He does not have a physical body. He created man with a body in which He could dwell and manifest "His image" in the earth realm.

There is not enough wonderful words to describe the image of God. But one thing is for sure, God is love and "we" are significant to God. Think of it like this, out of all of creation, He chose man to carry - display- host His image (spirit) in the earth.

It's quite fascinating... Col 1:26-27 the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints. 27 To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you the hope of glory

His glory dwells in us, His image is restored to us! This new man wants to rule through us while we are here in the earth!

Our old man is dead. The new man is Christ in us, the hope of glory! Renew your mind to spiritual truths,,
Rom 8:6 To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

2 Cor 5:21, Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Be blessed!
