God has moved upon us mightily in the McDowell County Baptist Camp Meeting this week. If you want a spiritual blessing, attend the meetings. We have two nights left. Due to weather conditions, it has been moved to Zion Hill Baptist Church, 1036 Zion Hill Road, in Marion, NC. Brother John Dorsey, from Adairsville, Ga. has done some soul stirring, Spirit-filled, heart warming preaching. Come if you can. We begin the services at 7:30 P.M. Come and receive a blessing! Foothills Baptist Bible College will begin it's Fall Quarter on August 13, 2024. Classes will begin on that night from 6:30 P.M. until 9:10 P.M. The following evening classes will be taught in the order listed below:
Book of Galatians (6:30-7:05)- Dr. Woody
Counseling Specifics (7:10-7:45)- Dr. Walker
Book of Isaiah I (7:55-8:30)- Dr. Grindstaff
Homiletics (Sermon Preparation) (8:35-9:10) Dr. Walker
If you desire to be a new student, you need to arrive early, between 5:30 and 6:30 to be registered for the courses.

A couple of things were on my mind as I awoke this morning.
First, today (Saturday, June 8) at 3:00 P,M. Foothills Baptist Bible College will be having its graduation exercises this afternoon in the auditorium at Zion Hill Baptist Church.

Secondly, I read something the other day by Thomas Watson I felt I should share with you. Here is the quote: "Living fish swim against the stream; so we must swim against the world, else we shall be carried down the stream, and fall into the Dead Sea."

Foothills Baptist Bible College will begin it's spring quarter on March 12th at 6:30 P.M. Four classes will be taught in the following order:
The Parables, The Book of Daniel, Cults II, and the Practice of Prayer.
We meet on Tuesday evening from 6:30 until 9:10 P.M.
You can choose the number of courses you desire. Also, you can audit the courses (attend the lectures without doing all outside work and taking tests) or you can take them for college credit.
If you are a preacher or just want to learn more about the Word of God, consider becoming a student at FBBC. We are about to enter our 12th year of operation. Linda and I are celebrating our 56th Wedding anniversary. She has been a good and faithful help-meet for all of those years, and a sterling example for other preachers's wives to follow. I don't know what I would do without her. I thank the Lord for Linda. Other than saving my soul, the Lord did a blessed thing when He gave her to me.
