06.21.2026 | Father’s Day | Kenedy Baptist Church
Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures in our church family. Today we thank God for men who lead, love, protect, provide, pray, and point their families toward Christ.
In Sunday School, Brother Joseph Vara taught on Biblical Understanding of Christian Ministry. We were reminded that ministry begins with God’s calling and is carried out through service, humility, prayer, obedience, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Every believer has a place in the work of God.
Sunday School Takeaways:
1. Called to serve
2. Committed to Christ
3. Caring for others
“As my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.”
John 20:21
In the main service, Brother Rudy preached a beautiful Father’s Day message about our Heavenly Father. We were reminded that God provides, protects, loves, forgives, guides, and prepares His children. Earthly fathers may reflect pieces of that love, but our Heavenly Father is the perfect example.
Main Service Takeaways:
1. Provide with love
2. Protect with wisdom
3. Prepare with faith
“We love him, because he first loved us.”
1 John 4:19
Brother Rudy reminded us that God wants His children to resemble their Father. As believers, our lives should reflect His love, His forgiveness, His care, and His faithfulness.
A thankful Father’s Day Sunday filled with worship, preaching, fellowship, and reminders of the goodness of our Father in heaven.
