🌟 Prom & Graduation Season: Celebrate Safely, Faithfully, and Together 🎓
Prom and graduation are milestones worth celebrating! As a community, we want all of our teens and families to enjoy this exciting season while staying safe, supported, and grounded in care for one another.
Here are a few simple, important reminders for a safe and joyful season:
đźš— Safe Driving Matters
• Always wear a seatbelt—every trip, every time
• Never drive under the influence—or ride with someone who is
• Limit distractions: phones down, eyes on the road
• Make a plan for getting home safely before the night begins
• Parents: talk ahead of time about expectations and curfews
🎉 Safe & Responsible Gatherings
• Attend parties where there is adult supervision
• Know where you’re going—and make sure someone else does too
• Have a “check-in” plan with family or a trusted adult
• Trust your instincts—if something feels off, it’s okay to leave
• Look out for friends and stick together
❤️ Healthy & Respectful Relationships
• Respect boundaries—your own and others’
• Clear, mutual consent matters in every situation
• Support one another—good friends help keep each other safe
• If something doesn’t feel right, talk to a trusted adult
• Remember: your worth is not defined by a moment or a decision
