Our pantry was a recipient of food from the Postal Workers Food Drive today (Saturday). We had a good team of volunteers to process (check dates, categorize, take to the pantry) the items. The haul was lighter than in past years. Thanks to the community for their donations, the postal workers for the deliveries and our church volunteers for taking care of the incoming items.

Preparations for planting our garden for 2026 are underway per Andy's plans despite the chilly and windy Saturday morning. "Animal-proof" fencing is installed around the garden along with an entrance gate. Some of the fabric to retain moisture and limit weeds has been placed onto the soil. A trellis for the climbing plants is set up. Thanks for the work done today by Andy, Merv, Mary Beth and Orlin. Perhaps Andy will add more detail in the comments.
