In his book the Disciplines of a Godly Man Kent Hughes said this, "That Modern Evangelic Churches are Corinthian to the core." What a horrible (and unfortunately true) description of a modern day phenomena. Churches and Christians who make up these Churches have bought the lie of our culture that truth is subject to our whims and feelings. In particular society will say that God's truth (The Bible) is subject to our whims and feelings. May we as God's people and his NT Churches stand firm on the truth of His Word. Let us not be Corinthian, Let us be Berean as we search the Scriptures and see what the truth is.

God saved Wilson about a month ago, his family, friends and the Church at Central had been praying for the Lord to do a work that only he can do. God certainly has, 2 Corinthians 5:17 is illustrated in Wilsons attitude and demeanor in general. Sunday we celebrated his new birth baptizing him with Scriptural Baptism. Pray for Wilson as he walks with the Lord.

Join us a week from today as we celebrate the Church ordinance of Baptism. As we baptize our new brother in Christ, Wilson Cox. He is publicly professing what God has done in his heart. May God be honored in Wilson's life.

I have had a man that has been rough, hard (by his own admission), over the past several months he has been asking me questions about different things (of a spiritual matter), will you pray for him that God will continue to deal with him and save him? I have several people that God has allowed me to get to know, pray for me that God will use me.

He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
