Come explore the wonder and beauty of one of Father Brian’s favorite hiking spots: Hocking Hills State Park, about an hour’s drive south of Columbus, Ohio. You will find yourself in the middle of a huge forest with cliffs, gorges and waterfalls. You’ll never think that you’re actually in Ohio! This park is the crown jewel of the Ohio State Parks.

Each hike will take you through spectacular scenery with hikes each day in the 3-3.5 mile range. Hiking days are July 21-22. Travel days are July 20 and July 23. The state park is about 6 ½ hours drive from the parish or an hour nonstop flight from St. Louis on Southwest.

Lodging can be either at Hocking Hills State Park Lodge (pricey but very nice) or in nearby Logan, Ohio.

Sign-up is limited to 12 people. Sign-up on the SJ Parish website under “Hiking With Father Brian.” More information will be given after signup.
